Having had a shufty round the website, to make fun of this man almost seems like laughing and pointing at the mentally ill or a wounded animal. He is literally quite mad, describing (amongst other experiences) a 'big foam hand' repeatedly patting him on the shoulder, rods sprouting from his chest once when he was in bed and, upon arriving home from church in a huff, a 'bearded man' pulling him into a sitting position, then vanishing into thin air. He admits to having a long history of addictions and financial disasters as well as passages suggesting that he is a self-loathing homosexual. In short, a disturbed extreme introvert trying to make sense of his life to the point where he sees the material, scientific world as the fantasy one.

Yes, Stephen King supports same-sex marriage. Also, one of the main characters of King's novel 'Cell' is a homosexual, and his famous epic 'IT' contains a sad scene where a young gay man is murdered after some thugs see him kiss his boyfriend (novel not mini-series). I especially agree with MelM's comment about how all this raking cash from the pews begs the question of how much faith really is placed in prayer alone as a problem solver. If questioned, Mutty, Prentice and co would likely say that they are directly linked - Gahhhd encouraged people to be generous; we asked, the Lord provided, etc. When your leader is invisible and voiceless his followers can make him say anything they want in the same way I used to make my little brother's soft toys talk to him, and always agree that I was right of course!

This is more entertaining than most current British TV. 'Mr Gay UK' is a brutally offensive 3/3, but 'Suicide bombing' is only a '1' and 'Filthy sodomite' brings up results without a hitch. 'Beating your wife' is a '1', but chip off three letters and 'Beat your wife' helpfully provides links to domestic violence how-tos. 'Arse' is a '2', but animal lovers will find 'Ass' is a '3'. 'Honour killing', 'Acid attack' and 'Cut throats' get no warning lights at all, especially as the last is also a type of finch and a sixties film. Are you sure it is a bad idea Barry? If you ask me this could be a landmark own goal.
