On a visit to my cousins childrens school I do the school run when down with her near Cheam, over the years some Asian / Indian looking women never had their heads covered. At school quiz night I met some familiar faces, I did not recognise but they spoke to me, all wearing head scarves, why? their husbands had told them to, why? because the mosque told them to do it, looking why? it is to annoy the local British.
The women hate it, but have to obey. Choice? Non at all. they are chattels owned by their men.

Zimbabwe- Emmerson Mnangagwa has spent some 28 years and maybe more sitting next to Mugabe, and a lot has rubbed off on to him, and Mnangagwa was responsible for many of Mugabes harsh policies.
In Zimbabwe and in much of Africa if not all people do vote along tribal lines, Matabele lands are Ndebele people and east of them are Shona, Mugabe tribe, for ZANU-PF to win in that area is impossible, that is government rubbing their noses in the dog dodo, or as they say in Shona Dodi.
Having fought Zanu, Zapu, and Zipra in the 1970's one wishes one had pulled the trigger many more times.

That is / was a possibility, but when life means life, they stay in prison, it was the reason when abolishing the death penalty in the UK politicians said in stead of the death penalty it would be life imprisonment. They lied. Then change the definition of life terms.
Friends wife was murdered in Zimbabwe in 1980 / 82 so may have still been in prison if not hanged? Life means something else in the world other than the UK.

On Tuesday 17th April I attended the funeral of a friend, his first wife was murdered by someone they employed, he went to the gallows.
I am not in favour of capital punishment but can see some cases where there is no alternative.
Thinking at the funeral if he had not gone to the gallows he would still be alive [perhaps] and still in jail. I think being locked up, and the door welded and no hope of getting out is far more of a punishment than death.
In the case of these two low lives I care not what happens in the form of punishment, as long as it is hard. I thought some of their murder was in Iraq? perhaps not but I am sure Syria could try them also.

The 2010 coalition would have not happened if DD had been Conservative party leader, because he would have won an outright majority.

The answer was NO, we do not want to be a member!
