I think the fallacy with Obama and the DEMS is that there is a perception that they want to do the "right thing" but don't know how. What they really want to do is destroy the United States and begin again because their opinion is that the founders were corrupt old white men and slave owners who did the "wrong thing" when formulating this nation. Fiscal policies of modern politicians have to do with buying votes, not doing the "right thing" for the U.S. people It is so much easier to spend than cut and it is so much easier to not take responsibility than be a leader. Perfect example: Obama. Bernanke and the FED have propped up fiat as far as it will go and the only solution to the national debt is the destruction of paper money. If your assets are tied up in land that is encumbered by a mortgage or in stocks and bonds, your so called wealth will die with "paper money". Gold, silver, diamonds, and similar assets will always have relative value for things needed such as food and water. When will the fiscal cliff and debt crisis problems be resolved?: never.
