I'm all in Boeing. I'm fully funding it at 20% and will punch out at $95 or so. Good times.

You are the problem with this union sir. It's trogladytes like you that give this organization its bad reputation. I am well aware of the consequences of crossing the line thank you very much. By the way, I don't intend to work at Boeing for the rest of my life. I have bigger ambitions than that. I've made no secret of that. If I knew who you were I'd do my best to make sure that the word most closely associated with you was IMBECILE. See I can use caps lock too!

Wow, I haven't even commented on this thread yet and I don't believe I said anything about returning to work on Monday other than that I hope we accept this POS contract that our POS leadership got for us. I am not a scab and I don't have tattoos. After 6 years in the Marine Corps I still don't have any and don't intend to get any any time soon. I think they're lame. They always fade and when you get old they look like $#!+. Next time you decide to vomit your threats and vitriol at someone while hiding behind the relative anonymity of the internet I suggest you go ahead and make sure you're directing it at the correct person. I'm not a scab and would never even consider crossing the line.

The problem is that so many of us feel threatened by those with an education. They want one of the guys out there fighting for them. It doesn't work. No time to change things so i'm voting yes on this contract and then doing all I can to get up and out before the end of whatever contract we accept.

I would suggest looking up Ray Goforth's resume. When SPEEA negotiates a phenomenal contract you will know why. We voted in our leadership and because we insist on not bringing in professional labor and contract experts we get what we deserve. We insist on having one of us doing our negotiatons. That's ridiculous. http://www.speea.org/news/Exec_Director.html We're going against MBAs and JDs with guys without bachelor's degrees. These people hold our leadership in contempt as a result and negotiate from that standpoint. Garbage in garbage out.

That's kinda what I thought. I wonder if the union was seriously duped by this. If so, why is it that so many of us can interpret it correctly and they can't? With this leadership I'm going to concede defeat and vote yes. We got outclassed, plain and simple.

Way to copy and paste the BAFO redlines but that says nothing about this offer. Meatballs are good. I like 'em best without any beef. I find a half pork, half veal combination works quite well as far as the meat portion. Americans tend to not use enough bread in their meatballs which leads to them being too dense and lack tenderness and moisture. I also find that a lot of pecorino romano and parsely are pretty tasty in em too. Polpettini are rad.

Here's something I posted on the PI board: From the union: Progression – Employees in progression on 9/3/08 will receive supplemental wage increase sufficient to bring them to the new rate range minimum or $1 per hour, whichever is greater. From the company: Employees earning less than the new minimums, after GWI and COLA, will receive supplemental wage increases sufficient to bring them to the new rate range minimum or $1 per hour – whichever is greater. Those are two very different interpretations. The union states that those of us in the progression will receive $1 after the application of the GWI. The company states that the increase only affects those making less than the new minimums. Did Boeing interpret the contract wrong or did the union?

Have you heard about the commodities collapse? We are in a deflationary economy. Just thought I'd mention that earlier this year wheat was $14/bushel. It's now about $4. Food prices will come down. I'd look for negative COLAs for a while.
