*facepalm* Are you serious? Are you stinkin' serious? What the heck? Sarah Palin could kick his scrawny little hide. Of course, that's a different matter entirely... Seriously, they act like he's some great hero and stuff. He's doing a terrible job. And now a comic based on him as a super hero? Obama as a barbarian makes me think of a guy wearing barely anything swinging a big axe and about to feel the bite of the hero's sword very soon. (Too much Fire Emblem for me...)

Yay, my school has the site blocked as "advertisement". Can't read the article all the way...

But judging from the headline on here, it makes me want to slam my head repeatedly into a desk. Obama is doing nothing more than tearing apart our nation.

Man, this ticks me off a whole lot. The name of "Freedom Tower" brings a sense of unity and strength, that the people of the US will not back down from doing what is right and won't give in to those who try to strike fear in their hearts. "One World Trade Tower" instead speaks of the slow loss of our individuality. Yes, it's a good thing to be united on some things, but there's a different between unity and being a mindless lemming that just follows the others. A "one world" tower instead conjures up images of everyone all the same, no individuality or specialty, just a "mass" of people.

Will the people of the United States remain courageous individuals who band together to fight for what's right, even if it causes others to turn up their noses to us? Or will the US conform and just be like all the rest, nothing special about it?

Disadvantaged African Americans? And what about disadvantaged whites? Are they considered below others?

If you actually put forth some effort and elbow grease and do your best to try and get out of the economic slump you're in, then I'd be sympathetic. But a lot of them are saying that they DESERVE to be given something.

I read the Fullmetal Alchemist manga... and I say that elements of the "law of equivalent exchange" should be used in real life for some things... Those who do try to work should be rewarded, but those that demand money while doing nothing should not be put ahead of those who actually work for rewards. (Although if it is someone who is physically unable to work due to help problems, they don't have to be held to such standards)

Of course, that might just be me being random, but eh. More than likely me ranting due to your comments all the time/

You're kidding, right? Special protection? Have you not HEARD of the persecutions they have to endure? A young Muslim girl who converted to Christianity was killed by her own brother because she converted. They consider us "evil Zionists" who need to be wiped out. Before you say they are protected, you need to see what kind of propaganda they drill into their children's head about Israelis and us and see how much they hate us.

And people at my school are calling me a conspiracy theorist when I talk about something like this coming to pass, that it will never happen. They're the ones who don't look at the news. -_- When I think about how this could come to pass, it ticks me off. And that they just want to rush it through like they have everything else? *shakes her head sadly*

Seriously, it's pretty dang scary that all of this is going down. I'm trying to figure out now just what I'm going to do when I graduate college. At this rate, it'll be pretty much dead-ends for a person majoring in creative writing like me. -_- It just seems to me that Obama and his little gang are trying to drive our country into the ground... or bringing our country to the point where the rest of the prophecies come to pass. (Recommend reading Epicenter by Joel C. Rosenberg and looking at his blog.)

*sighs* And yet I know so many people in school around here who still believe that Obama is the best thing for this country, that he's not doing anything wrong. When I mention all his broken promises and contradictions, they just call me an Obama hater and close-minded fool.

When Obama actually starts keeping to his word and does something right, I may gain just a bit of respect for him.

It's people like this who make me cringe and wonder how they can really think like this. These are people who seem to blindly follow Obama instead of thinking for themselves.

*shakes her head* It's best to just brush off people like this and not give them a second thought. I've seen my fair share of jerks, flamers, and trollers on the internet, and they're just another number to add to those.

This place is for us who want our country to go in the right direction, not those who mock and jeer at our beliefs.
