Rest in Peace Mr. Breitbart. To his family I send my most humble and sincere sympathy. The loss of a loved one, especially one so young is a terrible loss, and considering the impact you had here Mr. Breitbart... The loss feels even greater... It's sad how the internet is now bursting with such hate, such cruelty for a life lost... I am sorry your family will have to face the barbs of a cruel world. But i hope you can take comfort in the fact that there will be so many of us putting you and your family in our good thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace sir, and thank you for what you have done.

Jamie makes an excellent point, the out side work is great. They put out Band of Brothers, Rome, Deadwood... But I do disagree with Jamie on the idea that "All the movies are biased" you can find some of their movies like Gathering storm (Albert Finney as Winston Churchill.... awesome) or Conspiracy (fascinating look at the Germans planning the "Final solution") are not partisan at all. But then look at the directly made by HBO programing, like the comedy specials, most of the comedians are far left and spend nearly the whole show slamming conservatives. "The Pacific" which HBO took a more direct hand in making, was hyped as Band of Brothers 2 basically, turned out to be more about how we need to be more sympathetic towards other races and how we were racist against the Japanese (and the producers practically said as much). True Blood (Which I personally enjoy by the way) is practically dripping nothing but hate towards anything even remotely conservative. And there is no need to talk about Bill Mahr's show, again directly done by HBO. While more than capable of promoting exceptional non-biased works... HBO lets others do the heavy lifting while they focus on only promoting the left wing.

Over on HOT AIR they had a link to a story at the daily mail, where the head of the BBC basically says "it's ok to pick on Christians because they won't threaten to kill us". http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2106953/C... So even the media now admits they are ok with going after some but not others. Christans take "turn the other cheek" to heart, unfortunately that just seems to open them up to sucker punches.

I love pointing out to liberals that Prop 8 (the anti-same sex marriage constitutional amendment) in California was passed by liberals... They have no defense when I point out the state voted nearly the same percentage for Obama as it did in favor of prop 8. In fact here in CA if you listen to the news no one reports who passed prop 8, it was the states Minority voters, the one who voted for Obama. Statistically only 42% voted Republican in 08 here in CA, and yet Prop 8 had 52% vote in favor... And I know for a fact not every one in the 42% voted in favor of 8. if I had to do a rough guess I would say anywhere from 15-20% of the Prop 8 supporters were registered Dems and voted for Obama... But of course no one wants to talk about that. No one wants to talk about how Los Angeles, Orange and Sacramento counties, deep blue territory voted as high as 50-65% in favor of prop 8. Nope, lets just blame Conservatives, it's easier that way...

What do expect from the child of a drugged out paranoid delusional conspiracy nut? The guy was raised by a man who basically spent his life making films and being politically active in support of some of the strangest most politically unstable ideas in the last 50 years. The Son of a man who made the Kennedy assassination look like it was done by Gay anti-castro conservatives (one who is a pedophile ex-prest) in league with the CIA rather than some commie nut. The son of a man who has cozzied up with every third world dictator and tyrant who openly is hostile to the US, tyrants and dictators who would throw him in jail if his did to them what he does to the US. Face it, it was not long in coming, the son of a man like Oliver Stone is bound to have similar issues with reality. A man like that is going to say how evil the US is while praising people who kill, oppress and hate in a way that has never existed in the US. He is going to talk about the inequalities of the US but ignore the suppression of women in the Middle East. He will talk about against Hate in the US but ignore the public hanging of Gays in other part of the world. Will talk about the racism in the US but fail to mention the continued use of slaves in Africa and the Middle East. And sadly all over the world people will applaud the son of a nut and say how brave and smart he is for "taking a stand against the US and Christianity". Maybe this guy like being a tool for truly evil people (Iran's Government is cashing on on his conversion, of this I have no doubt) and he welcomes it... Too bad the guy never had a shot at a normal life, maybe he would have had a chance.

If you watch the various previews you will see The "Palin" character in hand to hand combat with the Nazis (she is stabbing one in the neck with a high heel), she tells off the "UN" and the star ship she deploys to stop the Nazis is the USS George W. Bush... Plus it looks like the only "World leader" who does anything to stops the Nazis is the US president, Note the laughing "UN" delegation? Until some can actually see the film (any one in Berlin right now?) and report on how the movie plays out, maybe it might be a good idea to reserve judgement until the facts are in. After all, we are not Progressives.... Now are we? And even if there is a jab in there about Palin.... It's Freaking Nazis from space!!! Personally I am looking forward to seeing this film.

Bay destroyed my childhood with this travesty he calls a franchise. And short of seeing Shia LeBeouf stomped on and squirting out between the toes of Megatron like a grape, nothing will make me pay money to see any of these movies. Hell I tried to watch it for free and I still wanted my money back! GI JOE, Transformers... Hell, if i hear right, there is talk of a Thundercats and He-Man movie (Ignore the other one please). Is nothing sacred? BTW Shia does not need to be squished... He could be atomized, burnt to a crisp, blasted by a missile or dropped from outer space through the atmosphere... Any of these things will satisfy me... Now too figure out how to kill him off in the Indiana Jones saga. Hmmmm? Poisonous snakes stuffed down his gullet.... yes that would do nicely.

William Shatner has made a career of being self deprecating, most actors today don't even know the meaning of the words. Most modern actors are so self congratulatory and ready to hear praise they end up being unable to take criticism. Shatner on the other hand has the ego filled self deprecating act down to a science, admitting he is great and then opening him self up to the joke that maybe he's all ego with no talent. You are aware of the egotistical lines delivered with enough sincerity you think he believes it, but with just a hint of sarcasm that you know that it's an act. So maybe Shatner really is one of the greatest actors out there.

I still have family in Central and South America. One cousin had a group of armed men walk in to her office and inform her that if she did not support the "People's Movement" she would find her self and her family out on the street with nothing... Facing a offer I am sure you think sounded fair, she had to sign a loyalty oath and switch parties because she knew her family would be finished in a year if she so much as protested. It does not matter her personal beliefs, she only has "Freedom" if she does what she is told. Hows that BIG PICTURE POLICY thing looking now for you? My family was never wealthy, just mildly successful, what is called middle class, and yet we have lost our homes, our businesses our livelihoods for the sake of "the people" and "Wealth equality". Sorry I don't think the policies you think are grand and that have been crushing my family for generations are for my benefit or the benefit of my family. Now maybe if you were lucky enough to actually see what a "Progressive" movement has done to places like Venezuela, Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia pre-1980's or even Cuba, instead of the pretty picture shows you think are reality, then maybe you would have a different tune to sing. In fact, much to your disappointment I am sure, I would not have been born thanks to the left, and it's not what you might think. See in the 1950's my Grandfather was a reporter in Colombia, he was even an honest reporter, he taught me " Tell the story, Report the facts not option, and let the reader find the truth". He took no political side, he simply wrote the story with the facts. However In colombia Politics are played with guns, knives and blood. See Colombia turned hard left, My grandfather didn't care, but since he would not write glowing stories about the "People's movement" he was targeted by death squads twice, and once they went after his family. My father at aged 12 ran through the streets of Bogota trying to escape these people and once escaped death by a few seconds thanks to a good man, an army officer, who let him and my grandfather go from a roadblock because he was a fan of my grandfather's work. Intellectual honesty, steadfast resolve, self sacrifice and luck kept my dad from being put in a shallow grave with a rifle round to his head. See my eyes are wide open. While you walk around in a haze of self delusional Bull S***, I have seen the price of your "Big Picture", So I know your the one suffering from anything close to Stockholm Syndrome. You want to talk facts? Then stop using opinion pained as facts. NONSENSE!!!!!!!!!!! How are Social Policies that did not put people to work in private business or open any companies result in the boom of business that came about after the war? Talk about ignoring facts! While the Government contracts of 1936-1945 brought jobs to private business, it was the businesses that kept the doors open after the contracts dried up that kept people employed. Can you show me one Government Program under the New Deal that created a job they existed after say 1942? things like the Conservation corp we by in-large busy work that did have the benefit of improving infrastructure and land use, but these were not "Real jobs", it was the businesses that used the roads and trains profited off the work of those men and hired them once the need for workers began. So What Policies are you talking about? You keep mentioning the greatness of the Democrats and the Progressives, but please show me exactly which "Pro-growth" policies the Left has ever implemented that has paid dividends. As a child of the SF bay area, I have seen the shift from more conservative policies to liberal ones, businesses are leaving the area, taxes are rising, SF has been suffering one of the biggest collapses in social services since the 1970's, Tourism in SF dropped dramatically and new taxes on tourism and dining are scaring away a lot of people, and the area's laws are becoming more and more fascist day by day. The State Of California wants to regulate how warm or cold our homes are by putting in controls to monitor and direct out heaters and air conditioners. There are "trash cops" in SF who check to make sure people are recycling and could fine people if they are not satisfied. Smoking laws, GPS units in recycling cans, Rat on your neighbor during "Spare the air" days programs, ect.... Are these part of your "BIG PICTURE"? Your right Policy matters, however painting the end result of a mass industrialization that was built on necessity as something that was created by policy instead, is not only flagrantly dishonest, it is just a down right lie! If the war had not happened the policies in place showed ZERO impact vs the changes seen when the war engine started.
