Meanwhile, the student parking lot is jam-packed with Grand Cherokees, 4-Runners, and X-Terra's. Plus, I'm guessing the average CU student uses more electricity than 98% of the other residents of this fair planet. Good grief. Pot, meet kettle.

Don't worry folks, it's not a war it's just a "counter-terrorism" operation...with 500 pound bombs and Tomahawk cruise missiles. I wonder how many Boulderites will be protesting the Democratic Party and its allegiance to the Military Industrial Complex. For shame.

Josh Fox and his movie Gasland failed to note that the famous scene whereby homeowners light their tap water on fire was a complete deception. It's been well documented that methane had seeped into the underground aquifer at least a decade before any fracking took place in the area. Natural methane intrusion into groundwater is not that uncommon. There are lots of sources via google but here's one to watch where he admits people could light their tap water on fire well before fracking - but that it wasn't "relevant.". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9CfUm0QeOk

I commute to work by bike pretty much every day (blizzards excluded). I'm not sure how they come up with the 10.5% number. I certainly never received a survey, so perhaps they're extrapolating from a smaller sample size. 10.5% may be accurate from May through September but I can tell you that I see very, very few people (sometimes none) commuting by bike from December through March or April. It's dark (in the morning and in the evening) and it gets pretty cold. I do give the city credit for making bike commuting possible with the multiple bike lanes and paths. They also do a great job keeping these paths open during the winter. So at least my car won't be the one slowing you down.

I'm sure Boulderites are in a flux knowing the Military Industrial Complex is alive and well in the heart of Boulder.

Maybe next time you can fumble with your taser as a man comes at you with a knife and a machete.

Not a single mention of the fact that the current administration has done nothing via fiscal policy that would lead to sustainable long-term, economic growth. Pretty much everything already mentioned above retards economic growth. How about personal income tax reform? Business tax reform? Long-term entitlement reform? A balanced budget? A plan to repatriate the trillions of corporate income being held overseas? Etc. etc.

Here are some questions I have regarding CGI Federal, the company that produced the website: 1) why was the contract for the biggest government expansion given to a Canadian company and not a U.S. company? Amazon couldn't have done a better job? 2) why was the contract a no-bid contract? 3) is it a coincidence that Michelle Obama's friend and Princeton alum is a senior vice president at CGI Federal and has had Christmas dinner at the White House among other visits? 4) Why is CGI still getting additional government contracts from other agencies? http://www.newsmax.com/Newsfront/cgi-federal-scru...
