I own a Kindle and the average price I pay for a brand new book is 60% off! I would assume that the same would be of textbooks, after-all a huge cost of a book is the paper itself. Therefore, if textbooks are priced similarly, by the student's second year (if not the end of the first) they would start to see a savings.
