Yeah, during the first install that is the impression I got, that if I was on a BES it would have gone further in the process. Not sure how far though. Not sure If it would have actually registerd on the Blackberry network. Funny though, after that first attempt I have never seen the "Enter Your Email Address and Password to log onto the Blackberry Enterprise Server" message again after many reinstalles. That prompt was replaced by "Register your device" message. I have an HTC Tytan, HTC Touch, IPAQ 910c, HTC Blackstone, HTC FUZE and HTC Dream. Of course BAS would only install on the FUZE. I am running BBConnect 106 on both the FUZE and BLACKSTONE perfectly using the XDA reg hack method. Rogers doesn't sell either phone but all features work using BBConnect. I also have a Blackberry Bold and a Blackberry Curve. I hate them with a passion. If I could only get Blackberry Messeging to work on a WM device I could message the rest of my corporate buddies (me and thousands of others I imagine feel the same way) Gotta hate the proprietary nature of RIM and thier devices. Any news on newer versions of BBConnect?

I installed Blackberry Application Suite on my HTC FUZE. The version I downloaded here in this site. It installed perfectly. I received a PIN and was connected with my IP address showing. I was then shown a lock screen and was prompted to register on the BES. Unfortunately I use a BIS and this part of the process would never complete despite entering my valid email, username and password info. I tried to change my device on the rogers.blackberry website but kept getting an invalid IMEI format message. I even phoned ROGERS tech support but they had the same message. I uninstalled and reinstalled BAS to try a few workarounds. Curiously, after that point I was no longer being prompted for BES registration. I was being prompted to register my divice on the network similar to what you get with BBConnect, but again registration never completes. It appears as though RIM will not activate this unreleased software and has set up a block on the server. Alright here is the challenge. We have the software, lets see if we can hack it and have the blackberry server register our WM devices! ANYONE out there up for it?
