Well, kids franchise, irritable trilogy comments...whatever. I dig spiderman as a character. Twilight and True Blood have brought back the vampire. Mix a Raimi spidey with potential horror elements and what've you got? The funk.

/Film : Do Pixar's Movies Tell The Story of Life?

As Sergemeister said, stories usually relate to life in some way. That's why Pixar works it well. Whether it's a progression in the hierarchy of life is whatever you choose it to be. I personally think it's more of a technology issue and the development of skill enough to where 3d and reputation can be more along the lines of philosophy instead of cool lighting effects.

I like motion capture, but it still looks stiff in the motion some and the facial expressions. Face expression being the particular. I heard there was a facial spray dust that now reads all of the features. We'll see. If the story is good it'll make up for it.

/Film : How Can IMAX Save Their Name Brand?

The only thing I can see is redesigning their cameras for filming and making them less cumbersome. The problem with that is that it's gonna take a while to get there. The truest experience of IMAX was on Dark Knight, and Nolan said the camera's were big and heavy. They're in it too deep right now though.
