Breitbart.tv : Obama: 'If You Love Me, You Gotta Help Me Pass This Bill'

Really? Common sense and discussion are no longer (never were for you, Obama) the way to work with legislation to get it passed? Now you try to pass things based on blind devotion and...love? Really? I mean, I know liberalism is a mental disorder, I just never realized it was based on love (aside from love of spending someone else's money). Is this OK with Gore? His cult functions close to the same way. Is faith in Obama a sub-religion of Gore's, or does it compete directly with Gore?

Breitbart.tv : Obama Announces Tax Deal

Boy did he seem agitated while he read that teleprompter. Nothing like taking shots at the group you want to compromise with, eh, Mr. "President"? Idiot. It'll be fun to watch the left throw him under the bus on this. What'll be even more fun is if this has an attributable, positive effect on the economy. How will the left handle that if it happens? I mean, other than the usual denial and lies?

Breitbart.tv : Whoopi: O'Reilly Implied Muhammad Ali, Kareem Abdul Jabar Behind 9/11 Attacks

What O'Reilly said, and what Whoopi heard, are two entirely different things - clearly evidenced by her completely twisting and spinning his comment. O'Reilly in no way, shape, or form indicated any such thing about the likes of Ali or Jabar. She again proves that liberalism is a mental disorder.

Breitbart.tv : Maddow: Fox is Bad, Bring Back Olby

The ridiculousness of her commentary ran from start to stop. Is she aware that MSNBC isn't Fox and that Fox isn't MSNBC? Is she aware that each network has it's own rules - that they are not bound to each others contracts? Is she aware that she was comparing opinion show hosts? Is she aware that she never mentioned anyone that works from a purely news aspect? Is she aware that Palin doesn't host a show on Fox? Is she aware of how utterly ridiculous this segment was? Is she aware that even the opinion shows on Fox are more objective than the news desk on MSNBC? Likely not or she never would have gone on her little tirade for her hero. I wonder if he keeps her as a pet? It was funny though.

Big Government : ObamaCare: Let the Rationing Begin

If ever there was a time to try to get elected to national public office, it's now. Why? Because THEY won't have to be covered by this utter abomination of a legislative government take over. Our elected officials are becoming the MiB...they're above the system, over it, beyond it. This new crap with breast cancer is a personal affront to the many people my wife knows who were diagnosed in their 40s, and are alive today due to that diagnosis. To these morons in office, they're just a number. I almost wish they could see us as peons at an even greater level - if we die, they collect less taxes! One family my wife knows is truly angered by this BS - it was early detection that kept the mother alive for a few years...she passed away recently from breast cancer, and would have much sooner had she been under this new set of "guidelines". To anyone who defends this (MSNBC Doctor Nancy "the moron" should take note as she actually had the stones to defend this and try to spin it as a positive), I want you to personally explain why it's such a benefit to any woman and/or family that was diagnosed from age 40-50, or who didn't make it to 50, or who stands no chance to live to old age. After your "discussion" with the family, you'll be provided health care for your injuries under this new travesty of a system that the Democrats are trying to jam down our throats.

Big Government : Would ObamaCare Kill Medical Innovation?

The sheer amount of ignorance that is in this video is disturbing. Profits are wrong? Ok, keep that in mind when you make more money than what you require to live on. You don’t need that cell phone, car, haircut, big house/apartment, or trendy clothes. You know how you bought those things? With your personal profit. They even have a doctor suggesting that there hasn’t been a medical innovation (in the way of meds) for 20-30 years? For that, let’s go to my daughter who is alive today due to several innovative drugs that were created inside of the past 10 years, one of which just cleared the FDA this year. I can cite a great many other parents whose children are alive today due to this drug. And my family is FAR from unique – there are countless other people out there who can cite their own examples of a life saving med that was developed very recently. It’s “sick” that profit helps incent innovation? Really? Someone show him the graph of countries that have contributed new innovations and let’s do another graph showing where profits stand to be made. I agree with one person in the video who suggested that those people who complain about the costs and profits are some people who are here today thanks to those companies who made a profit and produced something that kept them alive. Yes, it’s a free country with free speech, but who do they think they are to suggest that there should be no profit? They’re free to move to a country that does just that. Yet, oddly, none of them ever seem to want to move away. I wonder why?... Something is really wrong “upstairs” with some people, imho. Sure hope none of them run their own business and make a profit. Take it away from one, and it's just around the corner until they take it away from all.

Big Government : Sen Reid: Opposition to Health Care Vote is 'Orwellian'

Sen. Reid, along with a great many liberals, clearly needs a dictionary. Maybe he should read "Nineteen Eighty-Four"? Hmm, scratch that, he might regard it as a "how to" book and only inspire him. I'm all for debate on a worthy piece of legislation. However, when this 2000 page piece of garbage has little to do with "reform" and more to do with control, well... Sen. Reid would do well to "write" a bill that has more to do with reform and less to do with control, then he might not get such opposition. I do love the ironic twist of him referring to opposition to his bill as "Orwellian"...that is delicious. Would taste good deep-fried, too, but I bet there might be a line in the bill against deep-frying anything.

Does he know the irony of his being on TV? I mean, whenever something is broadcast, it takes energy to do - where does that energy come from? So, by his being on TV, he put how many tons of CO2 in to the air? Not that he'd fly his private jet or ride in a limo...no no, I'm sure he flew coach on a commercial airline and rode a bike to the studio. Hot air is essentially steam, right?
Big Government : Breitbart to AG Holder: Investigate ACORN or We'll Release More Tapes Just Before 2010 Election

You three really put some thought in to how this was going to work - nicely done. Balls of steel, and going for a grasp on the short & curlies...gotta love it. I can't help but feel this is almost like a well written TV show - I'm waiting anxiously for the next episode, and am excited for the first season to be available on DvD soon. The sad part is that the club has to be brandished over their heads. The good part is someone found the club and isn't affraid to wave it around when needed. Also looking forward to the leftie spin to try to dismiss this again. It's like a new fairy tale every time.

Big Hollywood : Open Thread Friday

I have to admit that I know very little about Lucy. However, I can say that she is one of the very few people in Hollyweird that I had the desire to meet. She was not only beautiful, but extremely talented and smart. I have no idea what she may have been like in "real life", but she did a fantastic job at entertaining in every respect. Back in an era of actual acting - not the 2 second cut scenes they film today and splice together. I have serious doubts about the skill of any modern top-billed "actor/actress" in that regard. How to tell true talent - her shows are still funny to this day - surviving for decades and setting a standard for a sit/com is a testament to her talent. My children even find "I Love Lucy" to be funny. To me, that speaks volumes.

Separation of Church and State is in a letter written by Jefferson back in the very early 1800s to assure a minister that the US would not declare a state religion. The First Amendment's Establishment Clause - "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." No mention of a separation of church and state in the Constitution. It's protection of religion.

While I agree with the reference to Martin Lawrence (yet another unfunny comic - there is a boatload of them), I'm being further specific with regards to Ferrell...Anchorman did make me chuckle, however, it wasn't due to anything Ferrell did on screen. Funny movie - somewhat. Funny due to Ferrell being in it as opposed to say, A drunken elephant - I wouldn't have noticed a difference.
