I raised 2 boys, we lived in many apartments, some second or third story buildings.... Neither one of my kids was ever put in a situation that they could get close enough to a window that they could fall out. This was 20 years ago, they made window locks even way back then..... Cost like $10 for a 4 pack. They also made child locks for cupboards and door knobs.... Your right 1dering1, there is no excuse.... And these little kids are the victims! Shame on these parents.....

It could also be that as they were moving officer's into Coos Bay, they were moving officers into the other area's that were covering Coos Bay... This kind of thing happens alot. Fire officials do the same thing.

Yes we lost Cheif Painter, he was the police cheif of Rainier.... Not St Helens.... This latest news breaks my heart. And yes I see it everyday... from the people who drive way too fast past our schools, to the people who cut in front of me at the grocery store.... This used to be a quiet little town.... 10 years ago there was no crime out here.... As much as I really don't want to place blame, we never had a problem out here until the Californian's showed up..... Bought up the parcels, bigger homes, brought their kids and their drugs into my town.... And looked down to me like they were better than me.... St Helens was a wonderland, our kids were happy and healthy... Now this?

Just kidding Swede... I had starlings from hell roost in my sawfit.... I was getting ready to hire a pest control company to come evict them... and I happened upon a elderly gentleman that told me to go buy an owl..... So I did.... The birds are GONE! Maybe those damn seal lions don't like OWLS as well! Just a thought....
