MetsBlog.com : Note: Mets to Erase Doc's Signature

I'm stuck with the crap LF promenade for the Saturday plan too. Oh well, watched the entire game from the CF bridge and it was enjoyable. I plan on being there for every game, since the view & standing is better than my seat + sitting. Get there early and if you don't mind standing, it's a great place to watch the game.

I agree, you'll see my post right below yours getting on him for saying the interference hurt the Mets. I just don't think calling Coffey a closer is a big deal, because he clearly took Villanueva's job for now.

I'm sure Matt knows Hoffman is the closer, Villanueva was the Brewers interim closer until yesterday when he was used in the 7th, Coffey would have closed Saturday if they had they chance and he got the save yesterday, so yes, he is the INTERIM closer for another week or so.

"Yet one more fan leaned over to interfere with a fly ball down the line, which Murphy may have caught. Folks, please keep your hands inside the car. Naturally, Mike Cameron hit a home run in the following at bat. Come on, people. Help the Mets, don’t hurt ‘em." This makes absolutely no sense. First of all, the fan interfered when there were 0 outs, so Cameron was going to hit a home run with either 0 outs or 1 outs. But wait a minute, the umpires ruled fan interference and the play resulted in an OUT anyways, so that's a moot point. Gotta pay attention.

Thanks bud. I wouldn't make this up. The mets have made me miserable, but not THIS miserable. This is just them making me even MORE miserable, if that makes sense? Oh well, I'll try to enjoy Johan tomorrow and I guess I'll be glad not to watch Murphy butcher balls in left? hahaha

Please, all you have to do is read my 3 page post in the comments section here, it explains everything that went down. I'm getting tired of repeating it. I didn't choose these seats. Mets gave them to me then wouldn't change them! LEARRRRN.

I agree, I don't care if we're watching the game on a tropical island instead of flushing queens, if I can't see the game, I'm unhappy and that's where I am at this point. Stuck with a seat where I can't see 25% of the outfield, I'm at the stadium with a worse view than If I were to watch it on TV. You go to the game to watch the game, watch aspects of the game that you can't take in when you watch on a television. When you take away 25% of the outfield from my sight, it takes away the reason of going to the game in the first place.

I wasn't and when I called yesterday they said all of those were now sold out anyways and there was NOTHING they can do, despite what Dave Howard went on radio saying, it's not a good look for the business of their organization.

Please, all you have to do is read my 3 page post in the comments section here, it explains everything that went down. I'm getting tired of repeating it. Here's the cliff notes for you: They renewed me from behind home plate UR to Left Field Promenade. At the time, I thought there would be problems viewing 100% of the field from my seat and I asked the sales rep if I would have any trouble seeing 100% of the field of play. They assured me I would see 100% of the field of play (sales gimmick? maybe.) Howard was quoted in the paper and radio as saying there wouldn't be obstructed seats (or seats where you can't see 25% of the outfield.) When I called them and finally got through, they said, despite what Howard said, they ARE NOT moving people, there is nothing they can do AND they can't offer a refund. Frankly, I don't want a refund. I'm a four year returning season plan holder and I deserve at least comparable seats I've had at Shea for three years, not seats where I can't see. Why must you debate me on this subject, can you understand where I'm coming from?

Again, gipper, please stop trolling and actually read my posts. AGAIN, the fact is that I didn't CHOOSE these seats, they were my renewed plan seats when my original plan was directly behind home plate / first base line. Seriously, read, the problem isn't that they decided to build a stadium with close seats so fans can see 80% of the game instead of being further back and seeing 100% of the game. The problem is that the Mets forced me to take these seats, despite having the same seat the previous three years at Shea. The problems also lies within the fact that they refuse to accommodate their customers after their director of business operations was on the FAN saying that they would.

JAN, I had the Saturday plan the past 3 years at Shea, how is happened, no one knows. But what I do know is the mets representatives on the phone have been unwilling to accommodate me, despite Dave Howard saying they would on the radio, it's ridiculous.

Agreed 911, people who are saying shut up and stop complaining aren't actually the people with the bad seats. They're either people at home watching on TV or people with great seats. Please, please, please find someone in the LF or RF promenade that says they are happy with their seats not being able to see the outfield, until you sit there please don't tell people to shut up.

Again, please read my entire post. I understand these seats "exist in all new facilities" the problem lies within the fact that these weren't my existing seats the past 3 years and the mets refusing to change my seats!
