Well, Heard's attorney, Rottenborn, did play emotional audio of Depp's obvious self-harm attempt last week and timed it so it was the last thing the jury heard before the long weekend. I'd say there've been some not-so-savory things happening on all sides.

It connects to the original Star Wars trilogy with recognizable characters from those movies, but it's also altogether new and different. It's a father/son adventure story at its heart. There's great action, lots of heart, and a winning combination of actors. It's one of the highly anticipated series every year it's been on the air. Fans young and old enjoy it across color and gender lines. Disney+ hit it out of the park with this one. It also includes women directors in what would normally be expected to be a fanboy-directed enterprise. If someone is offering...say yes!

There are a lot of things to unpack about Sunday, one is the fact that Chris was not a paid host of the show. He was not paid to entertain.That gig went to Sykes, Hall, and Shumer. He was there to present an award for a category he's worked in. This role does not need to come with potshots at the audience in an attempt to give the Oscars a ratings boost. That said, Will was off his rocker that night. Not sure if it was the scrutiny, the pressure, or the last 18 months of Red Table crazy, but that man was in an out-of-body crisis episode. Nothing heretofore has ever hinted that he was violent on that level. His working reputation has been stellar for the last 20-25 years. To throw it all away in one night, at the Oscars, no less, says that something is just not right in his psyche. I agree that the award shows have been trending toward this negative tone for a while now. I remember when Tom Hanks reacted to Ricky Gervais with disdain. And yes, some say this dressing down of the audience is their penance for the entitlement of working in movies for a living, earning millions, and preening to get an award. Ok, but they're still people. Why expect total compliance of the audience to grin and bear lazy jokes at their expense, experience awkward groping in gross comic bits, and public belittling to the delight of Academy brass? It's a weird, surreal system that at some point was going to reach its breaking point. Someone was bound to stop being nice and playing a part in their own humiliation. The violence displayed was outrageous, regrettable and tragic. Will should face consequences for his actions. He should've voluntarily removed himself from the award show to avoid overshadowing other winners. If not willing to do that, then his next act should've been to apologize to Chris Rock. It was arrogant to sit in that moment with the expectation of an accolade and applause. It was a stroke of luck that Chris Rock didn't retaliate. My guess is that he knew just how off-kilter that moment was and that pouring on more gas to that fire would be to everyone's detriment. It's all very disappointing. It feels a bit destabilizing to see people acting so poorly in a moment when a bit more reflection would've led to better choices.

I'm a chronic headache sufferer. I've been down some deep, dark holes with this thing. Docs couldn't quite figure out what kind of headache I'm dealing with. It's taken a few years to find out what works for me and it's a combination of things -- meds and Botox to be exact. So, here's my advice. The ER is only going to give you a pain cocktail and nausea meds. Get yourself a headache specialist neurologist. Not just any neurologist. You need the type who has studied headaches for years and years. First, since you're a guy, have them check to see if you're having a cluster migraine. They affect men more often, are killer headaches (like literally, you want to die), and have a specific treatment. If not, try the gamut of nerve drugs to see if they work, gabapentin, Lyrica. etc. You can also try Noritryptyline or its sedative-loving friend Amitriptyline. These are also nerve drugs -- non-addictive but you can't just stop them. They work on the pain sensors in the brain. They take a little time to build up in your system but can be a godsend for everyday management without narcotics. If your headaches are really targeted you can try steroid injection nerve blocks in those areas or if they're stemming from muscle tightness in the head and neck, Botox can be a lifesaver. If it's a really bad, intractable headache that persists daily and you remember exactly when it started, it might be the type of headache syndrome that could be caused by a CSF leak. That's something they can check for, though. That's all I got for now, but really, get a good headache doc. It could be possible to manage your headache without narcotics.
