When you start censoring books in the library it is a slippery slope. My wife is an English teacher and she would agree with Jim. I mean, come on, this book won the 2007 national book award! Why is it that when one person complains to a school district they over re-act? The concerned parent could just tell their child to not read it. I'm sure most of the parents wouldn't mind their children reading this book. It is a well written story of this young native American's experience in public high school.
