I don't know what you mean by disagreeing that it takes effort. It does take effort. Some mornings I don't want to pray Matins, either. Anywho...

I hadn't thought about the length factor before. Maybe some don't drive in for that reason. Although adding hymns, longer readings or a sermon, or doing Orthodox-style 25-minute prayers at the end where "additional collects" are called for :) are the only ways to make it lengthier. I may ask around a little and see if some would think it more worthwhile if it were longer. Just typing that last sentence makes me wonder, though. Protestants are not known for wanting longer services.

Just today, Anon, they announced the first case of Swine Flu here in Enid, OK--a kid at one of the public schools. Case in point. We\'re all going to die. :)

Wow. I feel kind of like you did when you found the Padawan learner. The Cantina music? Really?

My wedding reception, on the other hand, was held at the Lake County Museum and Forest Reserve outside of Chicago. At the museum was a Star Wars Exhibition. One of the guests kept stealing the Princess Leia Figure on display and taking it to the dance floor.... But we had no Star Wars music...:)

As far as tools go, Wordpress is by far the most powerful. These days it's pretty easy to use. Blogger is the simplest, but has some limitations. Looking forward to it!
