You know guys, there is NO PROOF, the guy will be Twy's "Boyfriend" or "love interest" Anyone ever stop to think maybe he's that worlds Equivlant to Shining Armor? Maybe he'll just be like A big brother to Twy and help her out.

And even if he is her cliched "Boyfriend" she obviously isn't the type of person to go gaga over a guy, it won't be toned up nearly as much as a lot of people think it will be IMO, the main focus is still Twilight making friends with the human versions of the ponies, and trying to get the crown back from Sunset Shimmer.

Will this still be a chessy, possibly horrid special/DTV MOvie, yeah, but its just 1 Movie! If Dragonball Z fans can survive Evolution, if Avatar fans can survive the crappy Shamylan Live Action adaption, if sonic fans can survive years of mediocre games, WE CAN SURVIVE THIS!!!

It'll come and go, and we'll just look back & laugh on it. In the end we'll move on and enjoy season 4. And even if worse comes to worse & S4 is a dud as well, well at least we still have the comics, *knock on wood* God bless IDW!

Thats true, and these answers do only apply to the first season, so spike having the maturity of an 8 year old in season 1 makes sense, yeah they all acted kind of childish at times in the first season, but they have all grown alot since then, thats part of what makes the show so great imo, the mane six, CMC & spike actually learn, grow & mature from their experiences.

And yeah biological ages are still ambiguous, all we know for sure is that they are a hack of a lot younger then Celestia XD

Lauren View's spike as an 8 year old? Thats one hell of a smart/competent 8 year old then. Thanks lauren you just made every Spike/Rarity shipper feel dirty ROFL. Trixie a male... Kind of glad some of these concepts never made it into, or were never confirmed in the show, although the deer episode sounds like it would have been fun.
