Most people I know have to fight tooth and nail just to get the actual benefits they qualify for. I don't know what the unemployment laws were 30 years ago but I know today, you can't just quit your job and collect unemployment, and you asked "You also have been eligible for unemployment for 99 weeks, why didn't you quit your job and apply?"
