From 1645-1715 solar activity was a record lows causing a Litttle Ice Age known as the Maunder Minimum, which left much of the northern hemisphere in a deep freeze.There was 200 sunspot free days in 2008 making it the 2nd least active year for solar acitivty in more than a century. This year has already seen 80 sunspot free days, putting us on pace for even less solar activity than last year. The consequeces of global cooling are far more severe than with warming, yet none of the so called experts can see what could be really coming if we get 10 or 15 years of minimal solar activity. I like both the fair tax, and the flat tax however a combintion would work best i believe. Go ahead with a flat national sales tax of 5% on all goods. A corporate tax rate of 15% on all corporations, businesses that earn more that the famed $250,000 a year. If your a small business that earns less than that your rate would be 7%. Capital gains tax locked a 10%. Now for income. if your job pays $25,000 a year or less your tax rate would be 5%. $25,001 to $75,000 @ 8%. $75,001to $150,000 @ 15%. $150,001 to $300,000. @ 25%. $300,001 and up will cap at 35% . NO taxing on charitable donations under $200,000, and 10% on more than that.
