Seek balance and don't burn out MLP for yourself. I love the fandom and MLP, I fell in love with it in April 2012 just before the finale, but it's good to take a break to watch other shows out there and see what else is going on too. Most of the fan content comes out during the show and feeds off the jokes and memes seeded within it. However, a lot of very creative and high quality stuff comes out during the yearly pony drought so do like BronyOfDreams said and stop back here every so often.

I thought the fandom was an indicator that something was seriously wrong with society (Thinking of an army of ten thousand ChrisChans) and that MLP FIM would be worse than the original MLP (because it's made after the 90s) but after encountering one brony and watching one episode, that impression took a 180.

That hasn't occurred to me. The one part that doesn't quite fit is that Discord could have just teleported Tirek back to Tartarus and that would have been the safest solution for everypony involved. However, he'd probably find the other solution to be more interesting and isn't exactly known for playing it safe with others lives so it wouldn't be out of character for him to pull a stunt like that.

Woo what a season this has been. The show staff have been refining not only the visuals but the overall story direction and time management (or maybe more money is being put toward it to afford them more time for things) so I have high hopes for S5, hopefully better episode by episode writing though I have little to complain about.

I always intend to wake up, crack open a beer, and stream the episode in the morning. Then reality happens and I wake up 10 minutes after the episode ends.
I end up downloading it from Youtube in 1080p and I can rewatch it without wasting bandwidth or dealing with all the lag, grainy quality, and extra ads so it's for the better anyway I guess.
