Wow! I have never been the first one to post before. I think it might be Virginia, Vermont or West Virginia. Did anyone see the new picture of the Blue Ridge Mountains that replace the tall cactus of Arizona or Texas? Anyway, it looks like the Blue Ridge Mountains to me.

Hi! ReneeLovesGreen...I was reading in the paper today (thinking about you) concerning the cluster of plastic debris found swirling in the Atlantic Ocean. This plastic particle soup appears similar to the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. This debris is harmful for fish, sea mammals and at the top of the food chain, us human beings. Charles Moore, an ocean researcher, who discovered the Pacific garbage patch in 1997, said "Humanity's plastic footprint is probably more dangerous than its carbon footprint." WoW! I just want to say Thank you to replying to everyone's comments. Thanks for making us all feel welcomed to the Green House Blog Site.

HGTV Dream Home : What Would You Ask The Winner?

Crazyinlove....I agree with you. I would want the home too! If the winner decides to take the money instead of the house, HGTV will not run another sweepstakes. I read in the Dream Home Blog that either the Builder or Developer buys back the house. I don't remember which one. I hope this helps.

Hello Gail & Mary thanks for the new photographs especially the kitchen and the playhouse. Some of us bloggers would like to know, " Who was the lucky winner of Monica Pedersen's turquiose wrap? " I have searched under winners list and read the rules again for information on who won the beautiful wrap graciously given by Monica Pedersen. We bloggers are waiting anxiously about any information about the lucky winner. Looking forward to your reply and thanking you in advance.

DBCoop....Could you explain the HGTV balloon bouquets for us new bloggers? I know there would be other people/bloggers on this blog who would be interested in participating putting balloons on their mail box or outside in front of their house. My understanding is this for the HGTV Dream Home Surprise Team and to let everyone know that a HGTV Dream Home Blogger won the Dream Home. Again, Thanks Coop for sharing with us newbies.

Tueday evening is our Pizza Night. We order Pepperoni and The Works. Our family sits around our vintage round oak table and chows down our favorite pizza with Italian tossed salad. This is our favorite time together as a family sitting every evening at the old oak table.
