Hard for the Revival to do what the Dudleys did when they were booked to lose the match. Realistically, unless you are winning, every move you do is a kind of a mid match spot

Anyone know who is on that UFC poster at the 3 second mark?

I was fairly impressed at how far Matt Sydal has come as a character when compared to his WWE days.

He has never seemed bitter about the fact that he hasn't had a world title run. I remember him wanting a WrestleMania match with Cody a while back but it never happened. With Cody building his brand outside of WWE, its hard to see it happening at this point, but I never really expected AJ Styles to be in a Royal Rumble match. or be allowed to beat John Cena, so who knows.

CM Punk isn't one of those giant party sandwiches, so I doubt it.

Back then pretty often, because in the 90’s they didn’t really put NBA weekend games on later at night, they put them on during the day so kids could watch. It’s not like it’s a lot of research, it took me all of 2 minutes and a google search to find.
All I’m saying is, if you are going to claim something went head to head with raw, probably worth that 2 minutes of research to figure out if you are telling the truth.

"You call me crazy, but Rosanne pulled in stronger viewership than the WWE could ever imagine but that show was cancelled based on 1 offensive Tweet from Rosanne Barr."

Fundamental difference is that WWE does not depend solely on a single actor for its plot. If a WWE wrestler tweets something offensive, they can be released, and the story can adapt. Even if Vince himself went on a racist twitter rant, the Board of Directors could likely remove him from power, at least publicly.

In short, if having a top star commit murder while actively with the company didn't get them cancelled, I cant see words accomplishing the feat.

"Oh, you’re going to give me “but but but NBA Playoffs” and “but but but Memorial Day holiday”. Let me remind you that during 1998 when BOTH WCW Nitro and WWE Monday Night RAW were growing, they also aired shows on Memorial Day and faced off with the NBA Playoffs which featured arguably the greatest and most popular basketball player of all time, Michael Jordan."

The game you reference going up against WWE and WCW in 1998 was ON AT 2:30 PM. Did you actually research this all the way, or did you find that there was a game that day and decide to stop your research there before facts got in the way of your point.
Note, I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with any overall argument to be made, but this particular point is flat out wrong.

Social media hype = clicks to the WWE website or youtube = direct ad revenue.

Asuka absolutely needed to lose, and I am a big Asuka fan. The reason was that the streak was becoming a hindrance to storytelling. Every tag match she was in, the mixed match challenge, every TV match, the outcome was obvious.
They chose to end the streak to restore some unpredictability, and to do it in the least damaging way, by having it be in a match against the best possible competition in a hard fought match on the biggest stage.
Now they can finally move on with her, and create different, more compelling stories without the inevitability that so many of her matches have had.
