Exactly. Just take a look at Metroid: Other M thats a hudge change from previous games ,and in my opinion changes that I have been praying for!

Lol After they showed off Mario Galaxy 2 I thought it couldnt get any better!

Mike is right Sylux stole federation technology not space pirate technology. Here is a snippet from the section Dark Samus.

"Despite Samus killing Metroid Prime and causing the cavern to collapse on itself, it was reborn. With the absorption of the Phazon Suit, its own DNA, and Samus's DNA, the Phazon that Prime left behind was able to reconstruct itself into a body similar to Samus's. It could now travel across space and was more powerful than ever before. It was dubbed "Dark Samus" ("Dark Hunter" to the Space Pirates) due to the dark color of its suit and its malevolent nature)."

Dark Samus is the Metroid Prime whom was kill by Samus at the end of prime 3. If Retro says its the end of the prime series, is it safe to assume that the Dark Samus theory is ruled out? Yes!

But Mike the secret ending of Metroid prime 3 says it all! They ended with a cliffhanger!!
They have to tell us what happened next! Watch the video to the very end if you haven't, link in my last post. And to be even more convincing here is a link from the same sight you found

YOUR MISSING THE BIG PICTURE!!!!! If you have finished Metroid prime 3 with 100% pickups or just got lazy and watched this video <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gV0A2r5mMP8" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gV0A2r5mMP8 , the point is clear. (NOTE VIDEO = SPOILER). If there is going to be another game why not start there. They left us in the dark for crying out loud!
