Yeah I think this PPV is interesting in a sense of what you somewhat alluded to; while the winners/losers of the matches seem somewhat predictable, it is HOW the matches are won that has me intrigued. Jericho/Bryan/Orton heel turn? Punk face turn? Ziggler goes over clean (who are we kidding)? How does this set up for MitB & Summerslam? The PPV could be better sure, but if the WWE decides to not go the paint-by-numbers route, we could have interesting water cooler topics tomorrow morning.

I'm a Michigander. More specifically a Metro Detroiter. This is obviously exciting news and I hope Detroit will win one of these bids. This is not a complaint, as most, if not all of the stadium is bench seating, but if the WWE is so enamored with attendance records, I'm really surprised we've never heard Michigan Stadium as an option to host WM. Sure, it is probably the fact that Ann Arbor is not a "big market city" and more than likely could not take on the added tourism, but damn that would be cool. That stadium gets over 100,000 for EVERY Michigan game, imagine what it could get for a "Mania. 110,000 easy! This is not a complaint, as it is not the most comfortable viewing experience, just something I'm openly wondering.

Kane has always and more than likely forever remain in my top 10 favorite's list. I believe he is extremely underrated and it is a real shame that he has been given some real poor booking over his career. I have enjoyed a lot of his work, and it never really seems like he is uncomfortable with doing anything. Like you've somewhat alluded to, he has had an incredibly wide range, from a hugging comedy character to a guy who electrocuted Shane's sac and competing in Inferno matches. The same guy! OUTSTANDING career and a I hope the company gives him another real strong reign as Champ before he heads off into politics. I certainly agree with your stance.

For me his shirts are absolutely perfect for his character, but if you were that shirt out, people are going to think you're arrogant trash. So yeah, it is a great and awful shirt at the same time, if that makes any sense. I'd love to support Ziggler, but that shirt is for him. I'm not arrogant enough for it.

Dolph Ziggler is my favorite wrestler. I think he is phenomenal. So the face turn question is tough for me. However, I would applaud the turn because to me it would say the company has some faith in him. People are quick to slam his mic skills. I however see it completely different. I think after seeing his twitter and his work on WWE Download, the company understands that if they let him loose on the mic with no restrictions, he would run rampant on his opponents and win over the crowd. Obviously still being a heel, the company would be against that. So I actually think the company is restricting not only what he can say on the mic, but how many times he can actually speak. So I think that if he were to turn face, WWE would allow him full reigns on the stick, and Dolph being a legitimate hilarious person, he would verbally destroy all heel opponents and get over huge. The biggest issue with turning him, and it is the same for all faces, is him becoming vanilla. In this PG kids-aimed era, WWE struggles with having their top faces NOT being corny as all hell. If they allow Dolph to essentially be the same minus dogging the crowd and facing heels instead of faces, he would get over huge. What do you think?

It's funny because that shirt is a bold face lie. No Miz, you certainly haven't lost haters. This face turn has done you no favors.

I'm fully aware of that. That's why I used the term "everything in his power", because I realize the majority of it is not.

My fear in all of this is Ziggler himself thinking "If I don't go, they will strip me" and do everything in his power to convince the company he can go. Because let's be honest, Ziggler's booking has arguably been worse than any upper mid-card/main eventer. I don't think the company would hesitate to strip him and just make it a 2 man ladder match on Sunday. I would much rather have Big E take Zig's place, but this is the creative team...Big E taking his place makes TOO much sense. I'm fearing for the worst because history has told me to do so. Be smart, WWE. This guy is a gem.

Thank you for the detailed explanation. That was exactly what I was looking for. I'm happy that you aren't placing blame on him. It sickens me when I read people talking about how poor of a job he is doing. It's mind blowing. He is an absolute star if the company lets him be, but for some reason they refuse. There are not 4 people who have a better work rate than him (Punk, Bryan and Cesaro being the only ones you can convince me of), he has a distinct look, and CAN talk. But yet again, the company won;t let him. I'm referring to really loosening the reigns, going out there, and killing it. I think so many of Dolph's issues are based around being restricted. I'm not sure if you're familiar with his work on WWE Download or follow him on twitter, but who he is there on those platforms is $$$$$. Why can't the company see that? If Dolph was written on every creative members forehead they would still not know who they can put all their trust in. I just can't figure it out. While I'm still slightly leaning towards him walking out with the title next sunday, his chances of losing the belt on his very first title defense are way, WAY higher than they should be.
