West Ham Till I Die : Vote: Player Performances v Sunderland

Great comment from a Sunderland article- West Ham continued to dominate the game in the second half and at one stage put together a string of what seemed to be several hundred passes without Sunderland coming even close to sniffing the ball. At this stage we would have been better off sneaking our midfield off the park for a quick breather and replacing them with a set of police cones.

West Ham Till I Die : Creating a 'Changed Mentality'

Good read SJ - competition for places always helps but the team does not need players who "go missing" in games I think mental toughness is the key. How often do you hear about the top 2 inches, in professional sport the players usually have all the technical capability but the really good ones have that little bit xtra.

People dont take on board how difficult a serious injury is to recover from, take physical and mental toll. Lets hope he plays in his perferred position - he will deliver the goods.

He is a good example of the effect a good captain can have on a team - at the WC he was outstanding and the rest followed to the best of their ability. Its exactly what Westham has been missing since Lucas Neil left, someone to rally the troops towards a common goal - dont think Upson has it and not sure Parker does either but time will tell.

Iain We live in a world where the few spoil things for the many, dont let that happen here this is the best WHU site around and my first stop each day. Good to see there are a few other Hammers down here in NZ. Keep up yours, SJ's & Reece's great efforts and lets hope we have a strong season.

Kits look great, someone used their head - lets hope the team perform as good as they look. Dont want Bellamy back seems to difficult to manage and if he gets injured again it would be like ground hog day.

West Ham Till I Die : Latest Transfer Update

It's amazing how many players are being linked to the club, must be standard practice for all journalists. What is interesting is that there have been very few "exit" rumours - either means no other clubs are interested or they will all go at the last minute.
