I do wonder how well the matching algorithm will work given how well it works with the existing user base... I guess this answers my question a few weeks back about something "cooking on the stove". The ones that I have gone out with, I think that the experience was worthwhile but if I had responses from other matches that didn't communicate, some wouldn't have gotten as far as a date. So, I'm not sure if it is worth it to go as far as a date on a match your gut reaction is to close or that you feel like closing because there isn't much chemistry online. It's a tough call. I don't see this on my match.com account. They have have added a new feature, called "Daily 5" where they automatically match you with 5 members and you must choose Yes/Maybe/No when presented with them. This is almost verbatim what they were/are using in Chemistry. The visual personality test description seems to be the same thing that Chemistry was using, too. It seems as if parts of Chemistry.com are being integrated into Match.com, possibly because Chemistry.com isn't quite the cash-cow they hoped for? Is this indication that Chemistry.com is a flop? It has been a long time since we have talked about Chemistry vs. eHarmony. I wonder if this eventually means they are going to phase out Chemistry.com in favor of a revamped Match.com.
