What happens when the masses move out of the cities looking for food?

What happens when war, economic collapse, illegal immigration, disease, lack of clean water, starvation, peak oil, social security collapse, social services collapse, catastrophic climate disruption, global crop failure, religiously inspired social tensions, inadequate health services, and unchecked population growth in the most "ill equiped" segments of society collide in a society divided and blinded by political affiliation and "opinion"?

The point is our opinions won't matter. We will have no choice...

Youre right, but there's no point in regretting it. We have to acknowledge it and move forward.

your divided view of politics is a huge part of the problem. do you really think the "dems" are wrong about everything? They think the same about you. If you take some of the favorite pet issues of both, and add in what the pentagon KNOWS you will see the scope of the problem. This reaches far beyond petty partisan politics...and besides, the politicians have been warned and refused to fix these problems, because it wasn't politically expediant. Now we are left with very few options.

We will not have the food or water to feed our kids, or the money to cloth house or educate them according to 80 percent of the computer models run by the pentagon.

Your freedom is and has always been predicated on the ability to assume responsibility. We have reached a point where individual responsibility by the few can no longer sustain the rights of the many. Social security is the perfect example. Another is the housing crisis.

I'm going to assume you're a conservative...you listen to rush and hannity? They re telling you about 60 percent of the truth. The other part is that we ARE facing a peak oil meltdown, and global ecological collapse. See, your side tells you half the truth, and the other tells you half. The politicians know this!

Sorry, there is no positive note. Several events are going to collide in the coming years that WILL destroy our way of life. The pentagon knows this, so do our "public servants" . Our politicians have ignored the dire issues we face, refusing to do what needed to be done. We have ignored what thy were doing and indulged in a political process that keeps us divided and stupid.
