<title>SliceCast : The New Apostolic Reformation, Ray Comfort and Thoughts on Blogging</title>
<link>http://sliceoflaodicea.com/slicecast/2008/07/10/wordoffaith/#IDComment3526553</link>
<description>As so many others have said, thank you for putting this information out there for people to hear. I had to unravel a lot of this information through my own effort last year. My family and I were attending a church last year that seemed mildly charismatic when we started attending (first one I&amp;#039;d ever gone to), but just seemed to get stranger and stranger as time went on. We went for about 3 months or so before things got so weird that we had to leave. There were a couple of phrases the pastor used, a couple of names, and a book that he mentioned that led me (via Internet searches the next day) to uncover this whole movement I&amp;#039;d never even heard of... the New Apostolic Reformation. The more I found out, the more concerned (and the more reviled) I became. Jewel is absolutely correct in the information she is relaying. This grew out of a clearly heretical movement called &amp;#039;Latter Rain&amp;#039; which later morphed into the Vineyard group. I blogged a little about this just a few days ago in conjunction with what&amp;#039;s been going on with Ray Comfort and the Wolves of Faith, William Young&amp;#039;s The Shack, and some &amp;quot;modern Christian mystic&amp;quot; named John Crowder that I just happened across about a week and a half ago. If you&amp;#039;re interested, the post is entitled &amp;quot;Counter-Fit Christian Culture and the Holy Spirit House Party&amp;quot; at &lt;a href=&quot;http://simplemann.net/?p=72. &quot;&gt;http://simplemann.net/?p=72. &lt;/a&gt; I am gravely concerned with the unbelievable amount of deception taking place in the church. God bless you and your ministry. May the continue to honor and glorify our Lord. Peace &amp;amp; Blessings, Simple Mann </description>
