True. You can't fix stupid. I've read a number of your posts here. Glad you're having fun letting out your rancor. And there's no point in argumentatively replying to them. Because as you say....

So why do the military, based upon political contributions, so heavily support Ron Paul over all the other GOP candidates COMBINED? What do they know that you don't?

Sanctions work wonderfully. Remember what happened when the US imposed an oil embargo against Japan in the late 1930's? It got us World War II when the Japanese, out of desperation, hit us back at Pearl Harbor. Iran doesn't have any nuclear weapons. So says the IAEA and the CIA. Nor an air force to deliver them. I particularly note the use of the phrase "Paul implied". He hasn't advocated Iran build nuclear weapons. But the reality is that they are surrounded by nations with them. If other countries imposed sanctions against the US, I suspect all the little chickenhawks here would very quickly shift their perceptions about whether or not it's an act of war.

Big Hollywood : Jon Stewart Rips Keith Olbermann and MSNBC to Pieces

Yeah that was a bit surreal watching a lefty go after others. Usually they march in lockstep when in public. But Olbermann, like Ed Shulz and many on the Left, go so far in their vindictive that they inspire the bitchslaps they'll inevitably get. Even from one of their fellow travelers on occasion.

Breitbart.tv : WSJ's John Fund Brings Much Needed Sanity to Maher's Show

I agree with the headline about much needed sanity for Bill Maher's show. I've given up on the guy. Seeing this clip shows things haven't changed much. Weiner, like all liberals, gives off much more heat than light. Take away his insults/putdowns and he has precious little to say. His comments about the size of Beck's audience (grossly incorrect), his putdowns of that audience (amazingly huge given the timing of Glenn Beck's show in the afternoon and middle of the night) reveals much about his arrogance towards those who disagree with him. Like all liberals sadly. They insult what they wish they didn't have to deal with.

Breitbart.tv : Sanctimonious Liberal Roger Simon Smacked Down on CNN

Yes the Left uses hate messages constantly (Keith Olberman any show, for example; Janine Garafalo on Air America or Rosie O'Donnell discussing pretty much anything at any time). Just to name three. Tip of the iceberg. The Left, like Daily Kos uses violence metaphors against those they hate. And Obama talks about gun fights and punishing enemies and Repubs going to the "back of the bus" with scorn. But, you see, to them THAT doesn't count. Because their souls are pure. It only counts when someone on the other side does it. So...that means they don't really do it.....

Breitbart.tv : O'Reilly: Attacks Against Palin and Bachmann No Worse Than Attacks Against Beck and Me

I think liberals view women and minorities as "theirs" by some right. They fantasize that they "represent" these groups and the fantasy has been in place a long time. The reality is most blacks are indeed Democrats but conservative on many issues, a bare majority of women vote Democrat now (and that percentage is falling as the country shifts rightward) and many Latinos (especially Cubans) are joining that rightward shift. I've noticed how the Left get especially vitriolic when a minority, gay or a woman dares not to think in accordance with liberal/feminist ideology. I think liberals view it as some kind of betrayal. I suspect that it frightens them on some level they dare not face.

Breitbart.com : Obama declares US not at war with Islam

What I wonder about is this: from everything I've heard of Islam, it is forbidden to opt out of it. The sentence is death. One may NOT convert. And for my money, that alone makes Islam a pretty scary religion. Obama was raised as an Islamist when young. He attended a madras. He now claims to be Christian and often attends a Christian church in Chicago. WHY isn't there a death sentence on his head from the Muslim community?
