He knew what he signed up for, it was his job and his duty. This makes it no better that a good cop died, that is very tragic. What i don't understand is how the man that hit and killed two little girls is out free, how is that fair, and where is the justice, where was the community then??? That man had no license, and was a habitual traffic offender. How do we decide the value and importance of a life? It seems that unless you are someone of some significant importance or wear a badge you are nothing. A regular Joe can die and its just another death. This Devine was drunk, what happened that night was horrible, but Devine made his own choices, why are we trying to hold everyone else responsible for his actions? Yes Blue Jeans has a lot of shady clientele, and isn't a reputable place. But since when do we hold bars responsible for what the people who drink there do? If alcohol is that bad that you need someone to babysit you, and make choices for you it should then be illegal to drink. Why is the community ok with this kind of action?
