Everyone here needs to understand something very important about my comment above about the initial explosion not being something that anyone could survive. But I want to expand on it even further.

Anyone being subjected to such an extreme explosive force would have lost consciousness immediately. And once having lost consciousness, there would have been no chance of them reaching any refuge chamber, regardless of how close they were in proximity to it. Their lungs would have filled with noxious gases in the moments following their collapse. They would not have been able to regain consciousness once having lost it. They likely would have died by suffocation.

Now you need to understand this. It is deliberate on the part of those who manage these mines to mislead the public about the survivability on ANY accident. The payoff for them is the distraction that is sold to the public diminishes the extent of vitriolic outcry for the hazards these men face everyday in these horrific environments. And the same is especially true for the miners themselves. To some extent, the miners are at blame for preferring to be deceived with a false sense of security. Without that delusion, even fewer men would be willing to work in mines.

But the primary purpose of selling all of us on the hope of survival, is to keep the public out of the pockets of the owners of these mines. If the public were told the truth from the beginning, more people would have adverse attitudes about allowing these mines to function as they do. Having the truth from the beginning would only give the public more time to react in a cohesive manner to demand the reform of these businesses that put the lives of citizens in continuous danger. The choice to lie is deliberate, and could be very well CRIMINAL!!

The ability of nature to boggle the mind, with the synchronicity of interdependent factors, is simply amazing.

WOW!!

Do you have to be an explosives expert to know that no one could have survived the concussion of the initial blast? Why was anyone allowed to believe these men could still be alive? Even if they were in adjacent corridors, they still could not have survived a blast that severe. That blast twisted rail lines for crying out loud! Now imagine what happened to their bodies, and tell me "how anyone can be considered responsible to allow a grandiose hope in futility? How many of you have seen the endless reports of car bombings in the Mideast, and never think that the blast of this magnitude was far greater than any car bomb would ever be? And then compound that by the fact they were all in a contained/enclosed space in which the concussion would have been magnified (by echoing). Holding out hope in futility has never made any sense to me. And it never will.

Another idiotic response from the ignorant above! Being in my fifties, I can remember all of the school desks I sat at covered with the graffiti of doodlers. To try and clump these children in with vandals is simply asinine. To top all of this off, the marker in question was one of the erasable type. So there was absolutely NO justification in her arrest. Even most cities allow graffiti to be drawn on public sidewalks as long as chalk or some other type of erasable media which is quickly and easily removed over time. And never are those artists described as vandals. No, instead this station and others have actually done favorable reports on the activity.

So shut up with your foolishness!!
Zeus, however, is conflicted by his love for his half human son. Despite the fact that Zeus has ordered the city destroyed and the fact that Perseus is trying to stop this, he gives his demi-god son a bunch of gifts to help in his quest. I’m still trying to figure that one out.
What's there not to understand. Parents will always be conflicted in their love for their children. And it doesn't make any difference whether you're human or a god. We are bound to our children all the while they may be acting out against us. You only need to read the parable about the Prodigal's son to understand that.

And this guy is supposed to be a parent?

Couldn't the Police come up with a better lie than this? Do you really think they didn't enter this woman's home without her knowledge? As I remember, the United States Supreme Court declared that no one is required to allow the Police into their home without permission. No one but the owner of the home can give that permission. That excludes guests. So how did the Police manage to READ her marriage certificate without illegally entering her home? This is something that needs to be prosecuted in FEDERAL COURT. The Police are responsible for this, and have to provide PROOF that they didn't commit a crime. The ONLY way they can do that, is if the have pictures from the exterior of the home showing the marriage certificate in plain view.

But really. How many people leave their marriage certificates on their kitchen table? That's really the best proof of this as crap as can be found.

I could be wrong, though I doubt it. But I'm pretty certain that most of the White people who complain about aid going to Haiti are the very same sort of people who complained about the efforts of Princess Diana, Angelina Jolie, Madonna and any other White person who values the lives and tribulations of non-Whites throughout the world. They are the very same people who hate those who adopt non-White (and black children in particular) as well. They just don't speak openly about their racist attitudes in the climate of political correctness. In which "political correctness" is nothing more than a euphemistic code for "let's continue being as racist as we've always been, but be discrete while being so.

So for them, I concur with the sentiment offered by Sean Penn.

Here! Here!
People need to really think with more perspective. For those Whites who are now talking about how much they gave Tiger in the wealth he has acquired, are completely missing the point. Tiger is who he is because he earned it. Not only did he make money for himself, he's made tons of money for all those White golfers who are now hypocritically criticizing him for his actions. They should first admit just how much they depend on this man who has made them more than they could have on their own. So the public should really grow up.

And isn't it precious! Whites acknowledge that they used a Black man as a role model for their children. Oh, I'm so much in tears for you. NOT!!
