Yeah the Roman Empire didn't crumble because of homosexuality, it crumbled because of complacency , over-expansion, an unsupportable standard of living, and a huge and expanding wealth disparity. And those are the same things that are threatening America now, so that's what these religious zealots should be worried more about. This anti-gay marriage thing is really just another variation on what a lot of Muslims want -- to have their way be the only way.
Why do you say chemicals are not natural? There are lots of naturally occurring chemicals, in fact my shampoo is made out of chemicals that are almost all derived from natural food products. Secondly, organic food is not necessarily healthier than non-organic, and also is not necessarily even "organic" based on federal guidelines. So that also is just another label Obsidian.
The problem is that "natural" is a loaded word. The correct label would be "No non-food additives" or something like that. Bleach is natural, so is sulfuric acid, plutonium, and salmonella, but I wouldn't want to eat any of them.
