President Obama owes the Cambridge police officer an apology - Unless Obama has already read the official report and has talked to those who know what happened and why it happened that way, he has no right to judge the actions of the police officer, as does anyone who rushes to judge. I am a former police officer and have been in that type of situation before. You have to base your actions on the TOTALITY OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES. Just because the cop happened to be white and the professor happened to be black , does not a racial profile make!!!! Please Please President Obama - think before you speak! And I'd like to know, President Obama, who has absolutely NO police training, what would you like the police officer to have done given the TOTALITY OF THE SITUATION! And please do not take any part of the situation out of the equation because on scene the officer could not.

If this program is so darn great, wouldn't it still be great if passed 4 months from now after everyone can read it and debate it? If passed NOW it wouldn't even go into effect til next year anyway? Can anyone give me a valid reason why this is rushed, other than the obvious? And that would be that Obama has to pass it now before his popularity plummets and everyone understands the bill and then there would be no way it passes?

Front page of our local paper this morning Napolitano will now only allow law enforcement to deal with ILLEGALS who commit dangerous crimes, not the lesser crimes. But, if you are a citizen you can still get snagged with minor offenses. Read the article, it will make your head explode!! I am all in favor of legal immigration but the fact is, by definition, ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT is just that, ILLEGAL to start with. Maybe I'm missing something here - Can anyone show me where in the U.S. Constitution does it give any government the power to regulate anyone's health insurance? Why are we arguing over the type of coverage the government wants to provide when we should all be up in arms with the fact that they are doing it at all!! GET OUT OF MY HEALTH CARE!!!! AM I MISSING SOMETHING?????
