It's time the Catholic church starts speaking out against those who believe abortion is ok. They will somewhat speak out when Obama is going to ND, but what about the regular Americans who call themselves a catholic, yet don't follow the church doctrine? Those people need to be told too. You either follow the whole faith, or you don't follow the faith at all. It's a misrepresentation, especially to our youth today, to think one can have their cake and eat it too on issues like abortion and stem cell research. I plan on writing to the different Diocese and asking them to start a nationwide campaign to "educate their masses."

I worry about where this is coming from. Why have we heard nothing as to what caused so many people to get ill? Did it come from people touching and caring for infected pigs? You supposedly cannot get it from eating pork, so...this worries me with the ability for some to come up with viruses to infect large amounts of people with. Could this be a viral attack?

We need to close the border, than we need to guard the border. It is beyond me how anyone can look at this situation from any vantage point and not see the inherent dangers of just leaving the border open. Terrorists can move in, more illegals can move in, diseases can come to us, but quick, government, sit on your hands! Both sides are to blame, as each of them see the border as voters, not paying attention to what this influx is costing us.

Obama is making us less safe with his current actions. Never before have we CUT the defense budget during a time of war, and given up the ghost on our intelligence seeking methods, and had our own administration call it out as being wrong. Nor have we had a President who is so hell bent on apologizing for America instead of defending us, and it, to the hilt. Then we have him shutting down Gitmo, without a plan in site on where to put the terrorists. I don't want these kind of people in my backyard, it's ridiculous. It's typical of the government though...come up with some idea, and implement it without setting everything in place and thinking everything through. I feel less safe, I fear for my husbands return to the Middle East, as I don't feel Obama respects and cares for our military members. I think he is effectively tying their hands on actions they should take, and would compromise my family (with an Army husband) for his own political agenda. I sure hope America keeps getting wise about this administration so they can begin voting them out next year. Dems are definitely worse for the military than pubs are...and that's not saying much.

Once again Obama was only interested in commenting that it was "important he wasn't blamed for an event that occurred when he was only blah blah years old." What the heck! OUR President shouldn't stand for people talking ill of us, painting us as evil, and labeling us as anything negative. He should have stood up for this country, its inhabitants, and even past Presidents. No one can tell me now that Obama is proud of this country...all of his actions, speeches (especially abroad), etc. prove he dislikes this country and apologizes for it.

I think Facebook pages would be a great place to start. A lot of the people who advertised their own tea parties, big and small cities, used facebook. That way the groups can "befriend" one another, and spread information easily from "wall to wall" and even get to the point of contacting one another and planning events, or joining their groups together...at least as far as city to city if not yet state to state. We also need to be willing to seek out the planners when we go to these tea parties and meetings, so we make that connection, and can offer assistance, ideas', or keep in the loop.

We have to be able to make a statement, one that cannot be ignored time and time again. Planning more tea parties, boycotting the people and products that the MSM (liberal like CNN, MSNBC) promotes and gets paid to advertise, writing letters, putting the bumper sticker on the car, talking to people who you know or feel hold your values on these issues. You name it, it can be done. We all knew this wasn't going to be easy. We all knew the liberal MSM and politicians would mostly ignore our attempts, or low ball how many of us showed up, but we HAVE TO keep plugging along. They are counting on us to give up, counting on us to get discouraged, and counting on us to put less and less emphasis and stress on the principles as time marches on. We are all together, marching to the beat of one drummer, a love for our country and wanting to see it succeed rather than fail. I don't care what sexual orientation a person is, as long as they don't harass me with it. I find it a bit distasteful that Obama has chosen to host an egg roll inviting gays. Not for the reason some may think, but I think Obama's intentions are to divide and conquer, one minority group at a time. He already has the black vote, he's got a majority of dems, he is going for the jewish with his seder meal, and he is going for the gays with the egg roll. Soon we will see more on the eco nuts, then we will see more for the pro abortion crowd. He is dividing and conquering all the different entities within the US, one function at a time. Those people who refuse to hold true to their values will be sucked in and stand with him rather than against his policies as we are trying to now.

I would send a copy of that letter you received to Glenn Beck, Hannity, O'Reilly, whoever you can, and allow them to question him about his response to you. It is unacceptable for someone who "works for us" to take such a hard line against us for using our right of free speech. This is the type of evidence that people need to see, people need to be educated on, and then Mr. Levin can see if he will get re-elected.

What I find disturbing is that the grocery prices went up when gas was high, yet since the gas prices went down, the food prices have stayed the same. What gives? These grocery stores are making money, hand over fist, at our expense. I guess they figured we wouldn't gripe since gas prices lowered. I am griping though...I am a military sposue who lives in a small rural community. The commissary is too small to accomodate everyone, all that is out in the civilian community is a walmart. So I have to drive 48 miles one way to Alexandria, La. or 68 miles one way to get to Lake Charles, otherwise I cannot get a full grocery shopping done. This is ridiculous!
