Thank you. I am flattered. If you follow the Conservatives4Palin site, I post there as \"Area-51\". Are you there, too?

Jewish Daily Forward : Benyamin Korn – Forward.com

Mr. Korn, I saw your appearance on Lawrence O'Donnell's show on MSNBC. You brought a refreshing tone of civility and reason which is usually absent from the ad hominem invective and calculated character assassination that usually characterizes any discussion of Sarah Palin on that network. I think of her more in terms of a modern-day Harry Truman, who was also vilified by the media elites of his day. Harry never even attended college, and was not nearly as well-educated nor as articulate as Sarah, but neither she nor Harry has ever wilted when the kitchen heated up. I wonder if anyone has asked O'Donnell or any of the other lefties on MSNBC why they continue to waste so much air time on Sarah, if they really think she is dumb and has no future in politics. Methinks they doth protest too much. And as 2012 approaches, they become more hysterical with each passing month.

NewsReal Blog : Top 10 Reasons to Hate Sarah Palin

I agree with everything in the list. I would add that there is a political dimension, as well. For the first time in my living memory, there are more pro-life advocates than abortion rights advocates in the USA, and I believe Sarah is the primary mover of that dynamic. Every time I see a picture of Sarah holding little Trig, or playing with him on her TLC show, I can understand how many have come to change their perspective on the right to life. I have never seen a more positive image of any political personage, and she doesn't have to stage such moments. They come naturally to her. Sarah is authentic, so much so that she can move minds and hearts. During the recent election, if polls are to be believed, more white women voted Republican than Democratic. The heart of the Dem coalition, for decades, has been the women's vote. What happened? Sarah Palin and the Mama Grizzlies, that's what. If you're a leftie, nothing represents a greater threat to your electoral health than losing the women's vote. Sarah is the one candidate who is making that happen. To the left, she is the anti-Christ who contradicts everything they believe in. Much worse for them, she is the political force of nature that could blow them all away by redefining and stealing their feminist narrative and becoming the new, improved model of American feminism. The Left would still have racial identity politics to fall back on, but the sexual identity political ground is shifting from right under their feet. Sarah is honest. How interesting a comment on our political climate is the fact that forthright honesty in a politician is so refreshing. When Obi-Wanna says he is pro-life, everyone knows he is lying, even his most ardent supporters. When Sarah says she is pro-life, everyone believes her, even her worst enemies. When Sarah says she is animated by her religious faith, everyone knows she is telling the truth. When Obi-Wanna says the same thing, virtually everyone believes he is just assuming a political pose. Sarah is not just authentic, but she is "authentic" in the Existentialist sense of that term. No higher compliment can be paid to anyone by an Existentialist Euro-Socialist progressive thinker, than that. Deep down they know that she is the real thing, and that they are not. It just drives them nuts. Are they really scared of Sarah? You betcha!
