sorry, but i guess u have no idea what u r talking about.. if u where a barca follower then, u'd know that davids came on loan from juve in 2003-2004 season for 6 months, which was the debut season for ronaldinho & rijkaard. he came in the mid season to strengthen the team, as they where 10th on the league table & struggling for a european spot, and they ended the season second to Valencia and top of madrid which released all the pressure the team had from the media and fans. And Davids played a very pivotal role in the team that season as he participated in every single game in the second round.. so i dont care about a street soccer match or skill competitions, he was great at barca and did the job demanded from him perfectly..

I have to disagree, if the previous generations have survived and overcame all crisis and downfalls, while maintaining the barca identity for more than 100 yrs, why cant we do it ?!!! I'm sure the era before Joan Laporta took over was much worse, the team was losing in all areas, didnt win a trophy for 6 yrs, and there was a great amount of debt hanging on the clubs neck, but yet no one even considered having a sponsored shirt, so why do it now ?!! especially that the club is reaching sky high in all aspects, and all sport teams (basket, handball, hockey) are in great shape, and the football team is in its prime !! I know we are in debt, but all the clubs are, its normal in football, the case here is how u r dealing with that debt. We are generating profits each year, so the debt is deminishing as the years go by, I'm sure there are other ways we can recover this debt rather than letting go of our core principals.. I always said we're a club who prefers paying money for good cause, rather than taking the easy and preferable route of having sponsors.. but I guess those days are over..

well anony.. it depends on how u see busquets as a player and his role.. for me, busi is not a DM, i just cant put him in the same category as Essien, Makalele, Yaya or Mascherano.. he doesnt have that in him( the strength, physical dominance and the dirty tackles ).. I see him more as a conservative CM (I guess i just made that up, but i have no other words to describe it), a player who drops down under Xavi & Iniesta, holds the ball and connect passes with his teammates ( and he does a great job at that ).. but when it comes to defending, thats not his thing. he relies more on the pressure of other players, and slopy tackles which most of the time ends with him getting booked.. I think pep is looking for something different, rather than a classic a DM, cuz if he was looking for physical presence and a great tackler he would've used Yaya more.. but that didnt happen.. right? For me cesc can fit perfectly in that role. He's a better tackler than busi, got better control on the ball, better view of the field and more experience, as he played for years in the midfield of a great club in a much tougher league.. and that would also help Xavi to be more free in midfield.. and if u put it that way, barca dominated possession in most of the games they played last season.. so u have the ball and controlling the game about 75% of the time, and tell u the truth I'd rather have cesc, Xavi and Iniesta doing that job than Busi, Xavi & Iniesta.. and dont worry about his creativity, as he can work magics in that position.. ask pep!! As for his price, I said before that I dont think its a necessity to buy him right now, as we got great players in midfield at the moment & he'll come sooner or later. but i think its all because of the elections, and u cant get him right now with less than 45mil.. it just cant happen.. so we have to deal with it, and thats my best scenario in my opinion..

I agree with u Fenderik.. everytime i hear ppl say what will happen to the DM if we played xavi, cesc & iniesta all together, and it confuse me cuz they're the same people who defend busquets with all their heart!!! I dont see Busi as a physical player, a great tackler, or good in the air, he makes silly mistakes at times, and is easily booked.. but he has this thing that makes him fit well within the dynamics of the midfield.. same goes for cesc, and i like ur comparison with Pep as no 4, cuz as i recall watching pep, he used to dominate the midfield with his crucial tackles and shrewed anticipation, and he can work on that with cesc.. Imagine cesc taking notes from his all time Idol on how to play his role.. he will give it all that he got no question.. i think it can work with all three together on the field, it only demands extra work from them to put pressure on the opponent.. cuz barca is not like madrid, where lassana has to do all the dirty work while his teammates watch & wait for the ball, barca depends on pressure from every individual on the pitch, so if each of them makes a job well done, it'll be easier for cesc to play that role, then u'll also have added a great asset to ur attacking midfield...

thats true.. all that cesc rumors are becoming little annoying. The means that are used by the newspapers to put pressure for the deal to end is not good for the club.. we shouldnt be obssesed by cesc coming cuz sooner or later he will.. clearly we can make it for a few years without him at the moment. and u have to understand the frustration by arsenal cuz like Xavi for barca, he's for arsenal (not comparing individuals but value for the club, as Xavi for me is on a whole other level).. but if it comes to it i wouldnt pay more than 45mil for him.. But this rush i believe is a result of the elections. As Laporta wants to cripple Rossell by signing cesc.. lets hope this whole drama ends & let us enjoy our players in the world cup...
