I think some of these are kinda cool honestly, only problem I had with all this is the title stating the "downside" of freedom. If there not hurting you, what the hell difference dose it make how they look.
I'm kinda on the fence with the leashes.. I can see there merit, but also I can see there abuse, and its not like people are not already lazy enough as is. Some of these cases I'm sure is pure and simple parental laziness or even neglect. Then some might even perhaps be that they do not know how to discipline there children. Reason why this scenario strikes a nerve with me is that my cousin, had a child that was 4 yrs old, bratty little bastard as most at that age are, acted up, and got a warning, a second warning, then a pop on the ass, not hard, not mean, but enough to get his attention. Same thing was done to me when I was that age. Likewise I'm sure most everyone here and so forth know what I'm talking about. Unfortunately, all it took was him being pissed off enough to blabber to his friend, his friends mother happened to be babysitting them, and she caught wind of it, so I suppose you can guess what happened next, my cousin lost custody of her child for almost 1 yr, because of a smack on the ass. I refuse personally to have children for many reasons, but in this day and age parents are powerless and at the mercy of there infants. Yelling only works for so much, and even that can get you in trouble. If this trend continues or these cases of supposed "abuse" are not looked into correctly, this world is going to be a scary place when these adolescence's grow up thinking the world revolves around them.
