I think maybe you should incorporate at least the sense of the current way(s) people talk - namely the fact of internet abbreviations & such since they do get said in spoken convo. Unless the current generation of language didn't happen in the history of the Grill's reality. &, on a topic some don't like: I find it interesting how other people don't go back to check if there's been updates on comments of prior pages. Like that spat a couple pages back which I responded to after I got back from being on my PS3 (spent a few days just playing on there, prolly gonna do it again rather soon).

I agree that Ellie is not the kind with the personality to be able to handle a situation like this. She may be able to snap & do some wild things but, as has been stated: She's tied up. So, even if she weren't so scared that she could do something... However what's stemmed from this is not a discussion about the story but about an entire gender. I think the majority of those who've read enough of the comic* would agree about Ellie not being "the type." But to say all women are ultimately like her? No, that's false. That's to lay down the claim that 1 person can somehow know how everyone is just based on their own limited experience. Wouldn't surprise me if Lissy went on about how all women who "sell their bodies" are doing it because they were forced to by men disregarding the fact that some literally do it because they want to. This kind of "mess" is the very reason I've been staying away from commenting. The first time I saw bigotry posted in the comments... While I aint gonna deny that male bodies do tend to produce things which make them able to perform better physically the fact remains that female bodies are fully capable of reaching a point not that far off. While it may take more effort a lot of that is actually due to how people have gender roles stuck in their heads & groom their children to fit into such rather than treating them more equivalently. As a transgender person I'm all too aware of the sheer amount of bullshit people assume regarding genders. A muscular female is capable of beating a muscular male. Just because most have chosen to fit in with stereotypes rather than becoming something more doesn't mean they "need protecting." It means they need to smarten the fuck up. & before you go & claim that I'm saying that means they should get raped... I did not once state that, did not once imply that. I'm very much against anyone fucking with anyone else's right to live their life their way. So I'm just as against murder & rape as I am against nitwits who promote archaic ideals as scientific fact. Science has already proven you wrong, moron. Deal with it.

I know it's been a while so it's easy to have forgotten but Rafe only shut down Murdoch's network. Every other network is still up & running. Rafe is afraid of screwing both Murdoch & Darwin over so, when he was given the an option to essentially keep both sides happy (namely to shut down only Murdoch's network instead of the whole network as Darwin wanted) he took it. It's 1 of the things I clearly remember. Even the guy who wanted to just smash the machine that ran the network & was disappointed when there was no smashing... Cause Rafe actually spoke to a techy instead of just going the smashy smashy route.
