They should have suspended him indefinitely and taken away and made null any awards he has won. Not only is he a liar, he is a cheater in every sense of the word. He can't even take his punishment like a man. He is a whiny, spoiled, man-child.
My opinion on this may upset some people out there, but here it is. This all started because of a single mother that has a female child that wanted to go to the father/daughter dance right? Why didn't the mother just go to the dance with her? That is what I would have done. If anyone at the school would have questioned it, I would have introduced myself and said, "Hello, I'm a single parent. I am both mother and father to little "Jenny". Nice to meet you." I think her doing that would have been far less controversy than this. I'm sure there might have been whispers around town about her, but at least people could respect her. In this reguard she made a poor parenting decision by making such a fuss. Oh, and if the mom is a lesbian, and has a girlfriend known as Auntie or something and the child feels comfy going with that person than so be it. If this is just a hissy fit by mom and daughter to spotlight a deadbeat dad or someone who has passed away, then this is just sad and she is truly making a spectacle of things and being asinine.
Is it horrible to say that maybe they had it coming? They use to yell profanity and insults at people that walked by their building. In one instance, one of them was standing in the middle of the street stopping cars as they pulled onto Sylvian and pointed their hands and fingers at people in their vehicles as if they were shooting them or pointing a real gun at them. Maybe they were just immature. Maybe they were just poor innocent crack heads having fun. I'm not saying anyone deserves to die, but maybe in this case it was natural selection.
My mother heard one in Central Falls this morning. It called out twice, but she never seen it. Be careful out there. Yogi is on the prowl for some picinic baskets ;)

The original story posted on WPRI stated that the boy ran out from between two parked cars. I understand the grief and anger of this boys family, but I believe it was a terrible tragedy that could have been avoided more by his mother being more diligent rather than blaming this guy who was just driving down the street. They have not reported that the man was speeding or driving drunk or driving recklessly. Maybe if this child's mother would have held his hand and taught him not to run out between cars, he would still be alive.
Anthony does not live in the home. He's my son. He was staying with my mother for the spring break. I hope someone edits this story to reflect the truth. Anthony lives in Central Falls with me.
The most he will see is 20 with 15 to serve. Fourteen solid for the two seven years minimum sentence felonies, and they will nickel and dime him so to speak for the other charges. All will probably be served in a federal prison due to that one charge. All of this if he pleas out well.
