Rough stuff being said about that girl, i mean shes cute...i mean to say, the day im turning her away at the door is the day im emperor of Mars. I like Judd, and i really do feel bad for you if you dont. I dont say this in a condescending way...it just really must suck, because that's all there is these days. And Tim and Eric...but thats it!

/Film : Todd McFarlane In Talks To Make A New Spawn Movie

I just never liked Spawn to begin with. A bad-ass merc who made a deal with the devil, a knight of hell who's fighting God and Satan because they have messed up this world (deep...), a suit of bad-ass armor that can do anything! Its all just so 90's extreme, angst, punk rock fallout. There's no real substance to the story or character, Todd just sat down ever issue and said "how many bad-ass splash pages can i get into this issue?" Spawn is the exemplification of something being "dark" or being "dark's" sake.

/Film : Russell Brand To Remake Drop Dead Fred

Who's this even aimed at? 20-30 somethings who watched it as a kids. Or are they hopeing that we all have kids now, and dont know Russel Brand and will take our kids to go see it? Or (probably) are these people just really, truly out of ideas. So they spend their days flipping through their film libraries and jokingly casting current actors into roles until they get something they like and then call up stairs frantically huffing, "We got an idea!!! Russel Brand in...Drop Dead Fred!"

Yah i agree...i mean, we would all complain and say, "This reminds me of another movie....i just not quite sure what it is though..." But at least a different name proves some original thinking.

/Film : Ridley Scott is Considering Alien Prequel/Reboot

I think the only thing that would not seem totally ridiculous would be a prequel or a true sequal after 2. I have seen the commentaries of Aliens 3 and Fincher talks about how all his ideas got gutted. A reboot? Thats such a "hot" word in Hollywood right now. Exec 1: "Hey, remember when we made good movies with good ideas?" Exec 2: "Well yes i do, but those days are long gone, you know that!" Exec1: "Well, what if we 'REBOOT' those old movies....you know remake them, just better...." Exec 2: "Briliant!"

It almost looks like Fox is afraid that Marvel is going to buy back the right to the X-men, so they are going to crank out as many half-assed mutant movies as they can in a year, make the money, or at least make it so no one else can make money off of them, and then fun away....

I think Bane would be an awesome villain. Have a Black Mask, a villain to fight Wane through business and the media. Bane then would be able to fight Batman one on one.

/Film : How Much Money Will Watchmen Make?

I have no idea what this movie will make. I will be shocked if it makes anything close to what WB wants it to be. I think Frosty is right, its just too much for people to take in, in such a short period of time. I think that those who have read the book will like it. I like the look and "feel" of it. I like Night-Owl's suit, and Rorschach's voice. But i just cant imagine my non-geek friends watching this and "getting it" in 2 hours. I can see me standing outside the theater explaining why Dr. Manhattan "can do anything he wants", or why The Comedian is such a "bad guy". Oh well... That being said i hope it does well. I am trying to get my girlfriend to read the book before we go. I am seeing it in IMAX opening day!
