GeekTyrant : An Angry Letter About THE CROW Remake

Saying that a remake of The Crow is a horrid insult simply doesn't cut it. There are no words in any language in the Universe that can describe how loathsome it is to commit something so un-inspired, unnecessary and unwanted as a Crow remake. The sequels were terrible enough, for fuck's sake!

GeekTyrant : GeekTyrant Weekly Podcast #31 'Night Of The Terminator'

Excellent analysis of Salvation. I personally, also being a die-hard Terminator fan, felt that it was merely a revamp of the series and nothing more. It was an attempt to get the newer generation into the series, by making a film that is all style and minimal substance. Naturally, they had to add something to satisfy long-time fans of the films. Unfortunately, that was just a lot of lame references to the other films and a lame execution of the 200 million they had to spend. The ending was, indeed, freaking lame as hell. As a major fan of Terminator, so much that I even enjoyed the third one, it was a decent film. Definitely not what I was hoping for, probably more of a disappointment than Transformers, but not something I consider a waste of money.
