They're not the same pony, the pony in the picture is Lena Hall's pony character, not the pony she voices. :)

100% agree with this comment. XD That's my issue with it too. Whether or not they are genetically linked, when you keep saying "cousins" countless times across the episode, it makes for a very uncomfortable ship.

It's just a reference to Maleficent, there's a line about Aurora turning 16 in the trailer, so they put it in because they were parodying the whole trailer. :3

Aurora= Greek goddess of the dawn, and tied to the northern lights. (aurora borealis)

The magic glow around unicorn horns would be called an aura, not an aurora. And auroras are typically bright colored, not grey. Your names aren't bad dear, but just because someone thinks differently doesn't mean they don't know how to name ponies. ;3

(There's also been MANY ponies named Star Bright before).
