Continued from above post. If the men and women that will be remembered on Memorial Day had let political affiliation, race, religion, or creeds get in the way of doing their job, they would have been just as effective as Congress is today and who knows what our country would look like today. It probably wouldn't be known as the United States of America, and English would definitely not be the spoken language. So on this Memorial Day, thank a veteran for giving you the FREEDOM to make choices for yourself and above all else the FREEDOM to be AMERICAN.

This Memorial Day, stop and remember one thing, some gave their limbs, their sight, their hearing, etc, and some gave their LIFE. They signed on to protect the country and its people so FREEDOM could continue on, because as we all know but sometime forget "FREEDOM isn't FREE" whether we like it or not. They signed their name on a dotted line willingly to fight and keep America's people free, they didn't care if you were conservative, liberal, Republican, Democrat, white, black, Hispanic, Asian, Indian, straight, gay, man, woman, transgender, Christian, Jewish, catholic, Mormon, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, atheist, and the list goes on. They see people not as individual groups but, as either American or NOT American. We have lost scope of what it is to be a united people. The media, politicians, and political correctness have driven a wedge between us all. Continued Below

To all the Media and Politicains on Memoerial Day, know that you only ride the coat tails of the people who truely keep this Great Country of OURS going.

It is the soldier, Not the President, Who gives us democracy,
It is the soldier, Not the Congress, Who take care of us.
It is the soldier, Not the Reporter, Who has given us Freedom of Press.
It is the soldier, Not the Poet, Who has given us Freedom of Speech.
It is the soldier, Not the Campus Organizer, who has given us the Freedom to Demonstrate.
It is the soldier, Who salutes the flag, Who serves beneath the flag,
whose coffin is draped by the flag, and who allows the protester to burn the flag.

The Feds want to pass legislature to determine the amount that a CEO of a "Private Business" makes by introducing "Pay for Play". I say that the only smucks that should fall under that piece of legislature is CONGRESS. We should base their salary off of their performance. Maybe then and only then will these blood sucking stains on society quit arguing back and forth on the never ending subject of "Who is Right or Who is Wrong" and actually get something accomplished. If the Military operated the way that congress did, no Marine, Soldier, SEAL, RANGER, etc. would have made it home alive because we would have started arguing on the middle of the battlefield instead of running for cover when the rounds started flying. They are playing a live version of the games of “RISK” and “LIFE” and we are the pawn pieces.

Government “help” to business is just as disastrous as government persecution… the only way a government can be of service to national prosperity is by keeping its hands off. -Ayn Rand-

The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals … it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government … it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen’s protection against the government. -Ayn Rand-
