And this ladies and gentlemen is why as a writer I would avoid time travel story lines like the Black Death, it always leaves tons of plot holes in its wake.

So they tried to tie that knot off, still seems hopeless. If you survive the dinosaurs and the meteor, you still have an ice age to look forward to.

Here is my question about Terra Nova (I forgot it was coming on so I didn't watch) Of all the times in the eons of Earth history to RESTART society, why in the name of all that's same and reasonable would you go to the time with the most dangerous carnivores ever? Sure I love dinos in movies and all, but that's just dumb.

Big Hollywood : Time Warner to Offer ESPN-less Cable Package

Correction I looked it up AFTER I posted, there doesn't seem to be a law/rule against it, but the providers are refusing to do it. And congress is in no hurry to intervene. Here is what I found. Looks like the MOUSE is a heavyweight against a la carte. http://www.wired.com/science/discoveries/news/200...

The cable companies had congress put in some arcane FCC law to prevent A La Carte programing for this very reason. They want to force us, the consumers to pay for as much programming as they can weasel us into. The basic packages just got more and more expensive, you cant even get basic cable in my area without a set top box. More crony capitalism at work. The federal government should not be involved in what channels we get or how those channels are packaged. And TRUST, as soon as that law/rule came off the books, there would be a dozen or so providers jumping up to provide the service the way most people want it.

Now in a city with some of the worst schools in the nation, is this clown willing to get himself arrested while demanding better performance from the city schools? Oh wait, that's how he GOT the job, the guy before him had the never to hire a lady who demanded the schools actually PERFORM. And the Progs just cant have that kind of behavior in elected officials and bureaucrats.

Big Journalism : Media Matters' Dishonest Misrepresentation of Pigford Presser - UPDATED

Lee, it seems you are now learning something that many of use Conservatives have known for a long time now, Liberals/ Leftist most often accuse their "enemies" of doing things that they themselves have done in the past, are currently doing or plan to do in the future. Its simple projection. The assumption being, "If I'm willing to lie, cheat and rig elections to achieve my noble goals, then those evil, greedy right wingers MUST being willing to do the same" So they accuse us of doing so. Tadaaa.

Big Journalism : Who REALLY Throws Around The Terms Nazi Fascist? The Progressives of Course

Man, I cant tell you how many times I've tried to explain that to people. Every time Dems accuse Republicans of something nefarious, it is something that Democrats have already done. Election fraud, racism, segregation all products of Democrats, yet they LOVE to try to pin those things on Republicans. Who questions the patriotism of their opponents? Which protests do you see anti-Semitic signs at? Its all on the left. But as Marx and Lenin proudly declared, anything goes when the goal is to put the left in power.

Big Journalism : Keep the Tea Kool-Aid-Free: 5 Stupid Conservative Tactics that Serve the MSM’s Narrative

Good job Christian, I don't agree on every point, I personally find the tricorn hats and matching outfits amusing in a positive way. But you are absolutely right about becoming the same kinda "everything he does is wrong" opposition. Is he in over his head, he most certainly is, but to pick at his every boo boo only makes us as petty as the hateful lefties who harangued G.W. Bush for 8 years. We as conservatives need to be better than that, and we need to be better than the left. The only way to attract more of your generation is by showing them how we have better ideas and are better people. Not by stooping to their slimy methods and disgusting behavior. Will the main stream media tell our story absolutely not. Which mean we have to be better in behavior, and better in message as individuals, not just as a movement.

Exactly, and when they do, suddenly discover that someone in their midst has a differing view they are at times mortified. You maybe get a polite nod and they just don't talk to you anymore. Or they will question your sanity or intelligence (you've been brainwashed) I got that one recently from a relative not in the media. LOL

They're total lack of respect and sheer loathing for the viewers makes it very easy. They consider they're audience to be slow witted rubes who need to be guided to what's best for them. And with the loss of ratings, they just assume that that the proles are being misled by a better manipulator, i.e. Fox News or Sara Palin or who ever the current boogey man is. They simply do not consider the audience sophisticated enough to be bothered by the loss. They come up with all kinds of excuses for the loss and why it may not be such a bad thing. (There are too many choices on TV, not enough people watch News, we have to dumb down our content to keep the ADHD audience's attention.) At no point would they ever admit or in many instances even REALIZE that its their own slanted content that drives viewers away.

Big Hollywood : 'PCU': A Look Back at 1994, Most Politically Correct Year Ever!

I remember watching this on Cinemax in the late 90s. The only good thing about it the Parliament performance at the end. As far as Hollywood making an anti PC movie, and making the villains the white frat boys, never underestimate the lack of self awareness in Leftists. They have NO clue how clueless they are about themselves.

I rented Unthinkable last night, it was GREAT!!! One of the most realistic movies I've seen in a long time. Samuel Jackson was terrific!!The debates seemed authentic and the characters believable. I may go and buy a copy to re-watch later.
