I thought the ending was a bit lackluster, but not 100% unexpected.

I think what saddens me most, though, is the fact that this arc probably means we won't see a return of Sombra on the show any time soon. I know it's been said often enough by various people that the comics aren't necessarily canon with the show, and that the show is not beholden to incorporate ideas introduced in the comics... but IDW has also said that Hasbro gets approval over the script and will usually put the brakes on anything that might interfere with future show plot-lines that are in the works. The fact that a 4-issue arc about Sombra's redemption exists in the comics seems to me to indicate they must not have any plans for him on the show anytime soon. Which is a shame; I'd have liked to see a return of (evil) Sombra other than just in the flashback in the finale.

Ah well, I guess there's still hope Chrysalis will re-appear... she took off before the comic arc concluded, so her whereabouts are safely back to "unknown."

I always assumed that, in any list of what we need more of in a season, "TRIXIE EPISODE" was understood and therefore would be redundant to explicitly restate...

It seems amusing to me that in a land populated by minotaurs, griffons, hydras, manticores, chimeras, dragons, sea serpents, and Cerberus the 3-Headed dog, it's a flying pig that makes to pony populace go crazy. You'd think the reaction would be more like "Ehh. I GUESS a flying pig is cool, but did you see that bugbear that attacked town last week? Now THAT was AWESOME!"

Heh... from what I've seen on the show, I'd definitely want to stay male. Then, as a stallion, I could just hang out, relaxing in the background, while the mares around me do all the important work that keeps society running smoothly. ;)

Hmmm... so they've already done Applejack, Fluttershy, and Rarity banks which have been released. There are also Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie banks which haven't shipped yet. So naturally, the next bank to be solicited is... TRIXIE!

I almost wish I could go on this cruise; curse the fact that it would cost me more to get there and back before and after the cruise then it would for the cruise itself. Though it's probably for the better: I'm a huge Andy Price fan, and I'd probably go all fanboy and annoy him to the point where he'd quietly arrange to have me tossed overboard in the dead of night... ;)
