Sorry for the typo I meant to say UK, and yes I am talking about the iPhone 3G. I was skeptical at first about leaving my phone with a market trader for 24 hours but have insurance so no big deal, picked it up this morning popped in my vodafone sim card and voila.

To anybody in the U go to your local market phone guy and they can PERMANENTLY unlock your phone, it costs around 20 pounds and takes them a day or so, but is fully unlocked and doesn't re-lock even when restored. Well worth it, saves waiting till june anyway. Ciao.

What I dont understand is that everybody states an unlock will be released after the new 3.0 FW, but wont that be as difficult to crack, if not more than the current 2.30.03 which they are still unable to unlock?
