1. You totally got me. I hadn’t said congratulations yet because I was going to craft a lengthy congratulatory email that was filled with cheer and tidings of great joy for your amazing accomplishment and also see if you could get me John Locke’s autograph. Now? Screw that. 2. Because of yesterday, now you will only get a simple “congratulations” blog comment. So…congratulations and stuff. 3. Are you guys hiring? 4. Something about your glasses because everyone else is saying something about them.

Great post, Ricky. Baseball made me cry once. When my high school coach decided to try me at catcher without warning one day at practice and I didn't have a cup. I never played catcher again after that day.

I whole heartedly agree with voting for Woody. Not only for the reason you said, which was an excellent point, but also think of the great campaign slogans you could come up with for a name like Woody. Also, as for the giant chicken tender arm, my ability to resist sampling myself would be directly proportional with the nearest cup of O'Charley's honey mustard. Finally, a rap video MUST be posted! Hammer Dance optional.

tylerstanton.com : A Beginner's Guide to Helping Someone Move

I think the position of Guy Who Hands Out Boxes should be reserved for the person who is actually moving. At the end of the day when all of the boxes are out of the truck and inside the new house, they are the one who has to unpack all those boxes. Note that while you are being considerate and allowing them save their energy for the unpacking, you can still call them names such as "nancy" and question their manhood each time they give you a box. Also, you should do a follow up post: A Beginner's Guide to Asking Others to Help You Move. It should include things like letting them if multiple stories are involved and always prewarn everyone that your sofa is actually a sleeper. You have to mentally prepare for these things.
