robot nine : Marc Sijan Super Realistic Sculpture!
You'll Expect Them To Move At Any Moment!

Alan; Glad you liked it. Although since you jogged my memmory of these last week, you should take some credit. I know I've said it before, but seeing the display in person is amazing. You so totally don't get that the little old security guard is part of the display at first. It just slowly dawns on you. Most excellent.

If you are married and uncrate one of these, I HOPE it doesn't save you in divorce costs. There's an artist I've seen at a Chicago art show a few times that does some life like and creepy sculptures. Don't think they are designed for this purpose, which might be better or worse, depending on your line of thought. I've got some pix, and will try to post them. Will shout and link when I do, but I want to do some research to see if I can find out who it is, first.

Yes, back in the day, they had a commercial with a jean jacket that they put a BeDazzled big as EAGLE on the back of. Even in the late 70's I knew this looked tacky. And I was in my bell bottom jeans and a "Keep On Truckin' " T-Shirt. (I have, in fact, kept the truckin' on.)

When I saw the dude with all the rings in his arm and legs, I thought, "Well, airport security is going to have fun with HIS ass." And the final one reminded me of a 14 year old girl with a Bedazzler that went horrifingly wrong.
