Aside from all the other wonderfully creative things that it's about, it also manages to tap into that love of Old Hollywood and movies that can serve as the Academy's soft spot.

Of the movies of the MCU, I think it definitely had one of the best villains, right up there with Loki (for charisma) and Zemo (for depth and motivation).

Loved all the ladies, particularly Okoye (her wig-throwing moment is my favourite GIF to emerge from the movie thus far) and Shuri (she's just a freakin' delight).

Nakia is great, but Lupita is even more fun when it comes all the press they've been doing. Loving the results of that bet she had with Michael B. Jordan.

My favourite one was the full trailer for Mission: Impossible - Fallout. There was a shorter ad on TV but the full trailer online was fantastic. For all of Cruise's many, many, many failings, the man makes a good action movie. And Henry Cavill's infamous mustache finally gets to make its cinematic debut and it is truly a mustache for the ages.
