I have relatives in Spain and when they speak Spanish it sounds noticeably different from Mexican. Dialects can have pretty big differences, especially to someone with limited comprehension of the language to begin with.

Season 4 was my favorite. It has an over-arching plot line that runs through the season, so there's some cohesion overall, but the individual episodes go all over the place. There's a lot more experimenting in the storytelling, you can see the staff is feeling more and more comfortable stretching the boundaries and exploring new territories. Just my 2 bits though.

Sadly, because of how screwed up our political system is these same nutjobs get their voices over-represented in the political realm, too. Neither the government (where all branches have abysmal approval ratings) nor the loudmouthed crazies who think being right means shouting louder should be taken as accurate representations of actual Americans.

That movie is always remembered (and rightly so) for it's ground-breaking CGI, but what amazes me just as much is the animatronics employed, for no other reason than THEY HAD AN ACTUAL LIFE-SIZED TYRANNOSAUR WHICH WAS ALSO A ROBOT. Seriously, why is there not RoboSaur zoos in every major city? Why do cars still exist when we could be riding artificial dinos to work? There is absolutely nothing which would not be improved by the addition of an actual honest-to-Luna T-Rex, and they totally had one- albeit one with rubber skin and metal bones, but who are we to judge a reptile by the nature of it's birth? That sooo should've revolutionized life on earth as we know it. Also, filming the last scene they would've had a live action T-Rex reacting to pretend Velociraptors. That mental image fills me with much glee.

I can see the advantages. The idea itself started for people with autism, and the bonuses for that group are obvious, but many people only have so much "social stamina" they can give before people start to wear them down. Some people might well want to interact for a while, but pocket a red badge for later in the day. I think the idea is that you get a set of badges, and you can change based on the situation- so someone with social anxiety, for example, could go green when they're feeling good and confident, yellow if they're okay but want to step it down a notch with just some friends, and have a big red force field on hand in case they get too overwhelmed.
